I'm gonna make one of this pinned info posts. So, uhh...

Hey! My name is Cat (well, not my real name, but that's what I go by). My internet usernames are often ChickpeaTheCat or Cat_Controller. My pronouns are she/they and right now I am aroace.

I'm also vegan, and have been my whole life.

My current hyperfixation is The Flight SMP and SBK2, but you may also see:

I write stuff on Ao3 under Cat_Controller. I also draw both traditionally and digitally.

I'm generally fine with violence in writing and in art, but not IRL. I'm also just flat-out not okay with sexual stuff. Jokes and vague references? Okay, but everything else just actually repulses me.

Hello Deltarune friends! I would like to remind everyone in the transfem Ralsei boat (which includes me) that they/them pronouns do not mean "in between pronouns" every time. Character uses they them does not necessarily mean that character will eventually use she her. Ralsei could be any number of identities (I'm partial to genderfluid Ralsei but I do love a transfem interpretation or nonbinary) and again, pronouns don't equal gender. I'm not saying don't speculate and I'm not saying don't make your transfem joy Ralsei posts (I love those posts, keep them up) however, it can become un inclusive when you assume they them to be pronouns in current place of "REAL" pronouns and when you call only your interpretation the canon way. I love all of your posts so so much but it can be more than a little disheartening to see people get mad at people for interpreting a character differently! I love Ralsei's character so much and there's so much room for everyone's Ralseis to have fun together! :D

it's just that like. if I were writing a story, and somebody said, "I think that character in your story is a trans woman," and I didn't want them to think that. I would probably avoid a scene where I have someone hand that character a trans flag and call them princess. And I wouldn't change what pronouns I use for them, or have them tumble out of a closet at their introduction. Oh and I wouldn't have a scene where they get really excited about the idea of being a princess instead of a prince

i dislike the weird jump to blame suicide victims for their suicides and call them selfish. suicide is very frequently in some way a social murder. i think instead of blaming someone who was in such a dark place that they saw no other way out we should maybe be blaming the people who threw gas on the fire, such as those with a lot of power to make that person's life that bad or those who abused them into it. is that really that unreasonable

not once has being told i was being selfish- or seeing people talk about how selfish suicide is- EVER made me feel less suicidal. it creates shame. it makes me shut down and never want to disclose feeling this way because oh, g-d, doesn't that make me a bad person? oh, g-d, they'll think i'm a monster, they'll think i'm guilt tripping them, they'll think, they'll think, they'll think (....)

and worse still, nearly every time i've been pushed this far- and, indeed, a lot of my mental health problems to begin with- often stem from the idea that i am less important than anyone else. my thoughts, my feelings, my safety, my life are less important. so to hear people essentially say to me, "but how would everyone else feel!?"?? it doesn't help at all. it makes it so much worse. once more, i am not the important one. even at my lowest, i have to be the one to make compromises and consider how everyone else feels. how could that ever help me? how could you say that to someone?
