The other day I was out searching if any local stores had TADC merchandise; my area's been lucky and getting quite a bit, so friends of mine asked me to keep an eye out. There were only a handful of plush left, one of them being Jax. I'd picked it up for a bit, when I noticed a teen kiddo shyly coming up to the TADC merch. They were quiet and very sweet, looking at my Jax and back at the empty displays. It was obvious who their favorite was, and I held the plush right out to them--

Seeing how much they lit up and hugged that Jax reminded me how often fandoms forget what's important. We can argue and dissect these characters all day, tear each other apart about episodes and plots and endings. But what matters is the emotional impact that's made, and how stories can mean so much to so many.

I keep thinking about that sweet kid, hugging their Jax tight, thanking me because he meant a lot to them. Their mom happily telling me that they don't have social media and knew nothing of leaks and were excited for the finale. That to them, it was just another show that they truly enjoyed, not something to be torn apart. Reminding me that no matter what the end brings, these stories will always have meaning.

There is joy to be found in TADC. I think a lot of us have forgotten that.

teachers r not entitled 2 students paying attention in class when going 2 class is mandatory and i think neurodivergent students (of all neurodivergencies not just autism and adhd) should b allowed 2 hunt teachers 4 sport

school was genuinely 1 of the most trumatic events in my life and thats coming from some1 who was raised in an actual fucking cult where i got sexually harassed by my bio dad every night, school was legitimately more upsetting 4 me most of the time and also was used by my bio family as a way of worsening the abuse at home

realistically if u actually want 2 make school better u hav 2 options:

- make school optional meaning that at literally any age a student can just choose 2 drop out of school w no notice and just leave and go home and never go back 2 school again

- make it okay 4 students 2 not care abt school and not try in school instead of punishing them 4 not trying

ideally it would b both but the lvl of entitlement teachers feel over a student being interested in their class when the student is being legally forced 2 b there is so fucking tone deaf that it makes me wanna punch a teacher with the rage of a thousand suns

school will never b less traumatising 2 neurodivergent students until we stop treating teachers like the victims and instead acknowledge teachers as an oppressive arm of the government, thats without even mentioning the ways in which teachers will sometimes racially profile students and decide that black students r at fault 4 things they never get the white students in trouble 4 which is also a major fucking problem

exclusive focus on feminism instead of gender & sex equality is especially missing the point when looking at sexism from a non-white, non-cis angle, feminism is supposed to fight for women, femininity, femaleness, specifically, & position men, masculinity, maleness, as the oppressor, how then does that encourage you to see those you perceive as more masculine or feminine? under this framework, racists HAVE & DONE lynched black men for being dangers to women, they HAVE & DONE excluded black women from sufferage, transphobic bathroom bills are constantly justified by & extentions of laws that see "women" as a restrictable, protected class
