people getting mad at ao3 for rightfully being firmly against censorship and allowing dark fics that depict taboo subjects in explicit details to be on their platform is so funny to me because ao3 was created specifically to be a fuck you to capitalism and censorship. the point of ao3 is that itâs a place to host and archive any fanwork, which includes fanwork about taboo topics that are not allowed on other platforms like wattpad or fanfiction.net
the whole point of ao3 is that itâs a safe space for all fics, and that includes fics about taboo subjects
ao3 has always been firmly against censorship since the day it was created, thatâs why itâs run by fans, for fans, on fansâ donations, why itâs a nonprofit organization, thatâs also why it has no ads or algorithms or any of those capitalism bullshit
if you have a problem with that, go to fanfiction.net or wattpad. no one forces you to stay in the house made specifically for the (affectionate) freaks

Big fan of girl dads đđ»
of course I like em too!!
WARNING FOR ANYONE WITH AUDITORY EPILEPSY AS OF 8/23/25 - theres a new ad for i think it was "the conjuring" ? that starts with yellow text that reads "test your hearing, best to wear headphones" -
THE FREQUENCY THAT PLAYS SECONDS IN IS A SEIZURE INDUCING PITCH!
please mute the ad or click skip!! in our ad we couldn't click skip in time because it made us sit through the beginning of the pitch.
PLEASE STAY SAFE and avoid this ad's audio if you're seizures or migraines are triggered by high frequency noises!
The Conjuring in question is the new "Last Rites" and I was able to find the ad posted on the Warner Bros. India channel on Youtube. To be more specific, the ad plays three audios and then a jumpscare. The audios are in 12,000 Hz, 15,000 Hz and 16,000, the jumpscare coming right after this one.
Im not too familiar with auditory epilepsy, so hopefully some of the information above helps someone.
thank you!!!
here's what the start of the commercial looks like! so you all know what to look out for!
{ID - A black screen with white headphones in the center. Yellow text reads, "Test your hearing in 15 seconds! Use headphones for best experience"
Further text on the screen advertises The Conjuring Last Rites
END ID}

PSA to the villagers of Azuma: STOP. TOUCHING. MY. CROPS.
I didnât till this field with my bare hands at dawn just so some random NPC could wander in and start âcheckingâ my radishes like they own the place.
No. I donât care if youâre the seasonal festival coordinator. I donât care if your tragic backstory includes a tulip farm that burned down in the Celestial Collapse. GET OUT OF MY FIELD.
I planted those tomatoes. I watered them. I talked to them. I gave one of them a nickname (his name is Toma, heâs the biggest one, donât you dare touch him).
Then here comes Villager B, all smiles and idle chat, stomping through my baby turnips like itâs a casual stroll.
They have the audacity to say, âWow, your crops look great! Hope you donât mind but I went ahead and rearranged everythingâ
YES. I. DO. MIND.
Do I come into your house, rearrange your furniture, and then compliment your aesthetic? No? THEN LEAVE MY LETTUCE ALONE.
I didnât survive a blight storm, three dungeon ambushes, and a boss fight with a demonic tree just to have my yams manhandled.
You want produce? Marry me.
You want access to my herbs? Romance me.
You want my bok choy? Die in the wild and earn it like the rest of us.
Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Something I noticed while playing Fantasy Life i is that a lot of games now follow a âtell not showâ format instead of the âShow donât Tellâ. I noticed it early on in the game but it really sunk in after (spoilers) Rem gets kidnapped and Ronoah freaks out. Because we donât see it. We hear about it - the palace is closed. Apparently Ronoah is absolutely freaking out. But we donât see it.
Apart of what made older games so interesting was that we did see stuff like that and it made sense. Ronoah is a protective older brother and we were the last people to spend time with Rem. He already threatened us once - why didnât we get summoned to the castle? And where was Aeshan during this? What excuse did he make for returning without Rem? Did he return?
There was nothing. And nothing was mentioned afterwards either.
Itâs not just the new Fantasy Life game either. A lot of other games and shows and movies follow the same trend now.
I just really miss the little pieces where we were shown whatâs going on. Where we see the characters react, see whatâs happening and how things get to where theyâre going. But itâs like no one has the patience for that anymore and just want to get things done. To reach the finish line as quick as possible.
What happened to characters actually having character?
Me, playing Animal Crossing for the first time in a year : đ
Me, seeing all of.my half finished landscaping ideas that I can't remember qhat I was doing with: đ±
Been replaying Sword and Shield and itâs crazy to realize how little I paid attention to this game and seeing how little I remember. And realizing just how much was brought over to Scarlet and Violet. I thought I had a pretty decent recall of Sword/Shield only to realize I actually remember very little about the game and itâs mechanics.
Camping, curry - brought us Picnics and sandwiches ( I think I like camping better. Though I like the egg basket from Scarlet/Violet more than the nurseryâs from previous games). And Sword and Shield was the first ones to have Pokemon out in the over world (I think).
The gym challenges, inspired by Sun and Moonâs trials and then tweaked for Sword and Shield and later, Scarlet and Violet. The absolute Hype during the gym battles themselves - like weâre really participating in a competition, broadcasted over Galar with fans and crowds. Itâs just really cool. I mean, thatâs what the gym challenge is, isnât it? A competition. And this is the first game that really made it feel that way.
The beginning of an open world, later expanded in Arceus and then again in Scarlet and Violet. Itâs all just so cool to realize how much Sword and Shield paved the way for later games. And I know that can be said about earlier Pokemon games, like Diamond and Pearl or Sun and Moon but it just hits different for Sword and Shield. Or maybe thatâs just me.
Anyway, thatâs just some of my thoughts as I replay the first Pokemon game on the Switch. Without it, we wouldnât have the games we have now and I think thatâs cool to remember.
So I've recently been moving my Husian Pokemon over to my Scarlet file and I have came up with a few reasons why previously extinct Pokemon are now running around in modern times:
1. (Scarlet specific) professor Sada brought them to the present like she did with the Paradox Pokemon
2. Pokemon have been proven to remain alive for decades in their Pokeballs (in the anime). Possibly a couple remained intact and were then put into a breeding program
3. Fossils. Debatable since all fossils Pokemon are part rock (probably due to the fossilization process.
4. Pure Pokemon fuckery
I heard that My time at Sandrok is coming to consoles later this summer. Itâs one of the games iâve been waiting for the most this year since itâs been on early-access. Hereâs some doodles i have done of The Cowboyđ”

What if you could find the Divine Beasts in the Depths?
Youâre in this dark, alien environment, strange noises echoing around you, the inescapable anxiety your only companion. Squinting in the distance, you see a frighteningly familiar shade of blue flicker, faint in the distance.
Cautiously moving forward, you begin to realise the blue belongs to something much, much larger than a possible guardian. Eventually, an ancient behemoth looms overhead, still, silent, and empty, both at rest and unnervingly calm. A strange, restless melancholy replaces the sense of creeping dread, no less uneasy than before.
Entering the resting stone, in the corner of your eyes, you see movement flicker. At first you think a spirit, perhaps the Champions still linger⊠but deep down you know theyâve passed on⊠right?
Echoing footsteps fill the silence as you press on, avoiding gloom where there had once been malice, a desecration of a sacred resting place. You see the flicker again, turn on your foot and see for a split second, a beloved friend, an uneasy rival, a stalwart protector, a steadfast leader, an ally, a painful reminder of your worst failure. Even now, years later, it stings.
You try to get their attention, but there is no response. Instead, you watch. And realise. And mourn again. There are no spirits here. Not in the vast, decaying depths, not in the final resting places of a final hope.
These are echoes of the ones you knew. You can see them in the corner of your eyes sometimes, going about preparations for that ill-fated battle. Itâs eerie, made no better by the Grand Poes gently swaying, their locations random but making uncomfortable sense.
Sometimes, on unlucky days, it is not preparations that these echoes go through. Pain torn screams faintly heard as their final moments are played out, a play on an eerie stage.
Vah Medoh groans in the dark, as the image of her pilot slams limply on her back, wing torn, and struggles to get up, defiance in his glare even now.
Vah Ruta cries a warning, as her pilot slumps over the controls, never seeing her killer, her last thought to warn the others.
Vah Rudania braces herself, as the echo of her pilot does the same, but the shield shatters, a flash of phantom heat coating the area, followed by darkness.
Vah Nabooris strides steady, until her pilot, fatigued from a relentless assualt, makes one fatal misstep in her final dance, lightning crackling in the air.
The stone beasts are restless, aware of the new threat, and unable to let go of the last pilots theyâll ever have, desperately trying to fight once more. But instead, they lay still, silent, a monument to their pilots lost to time.
What if you could find the Divine Beasts in the Depths?
