HOLY SHIT A SNEASLER AGHHHH
A Pokemon Mystery dungeon fic, but instead of being in the guilds you're a Hissuian Sneasel in a huge pack/clan of regular Sneasel and Weavile.
At first they think you're just shiny or a mutant. You get one hit by a psychic move they all scratch their heads. But when you beat the rocks off of a steelix or knock out fairies they do a one eighty and just start treating you like the weird cousin that solves problems and has long arms. Like, they don't have any qualms whatsoever just:
Random Sneasel: "Yeah this is Tony, they look kinda weird and they doesn't really do the whole hunting thing or tricks and shit but they climbs real good and can beat the shit outta steel types. So they's alright."
Pack lead Weavile: "So 'dey got 'ands?"
Other Sneasel: "Mad hands boss, knocked out Steely up ther' on the cliff like noth'n!"
Leader: "then get them a den, 'den dumbasses! Welcome aboard, Hand'zy Tony!"
[I imagine all regular Weavile and Sneasel to have some form of mob or mafia style accent. ]
The only time a difference is ever brought up again is when you evolve into a Sneasler and all they do is comment on the 'nails' and complain about you being taller.
