Overly Honest Methods in science.
ooh this version has some ones i havenât seen before, priceless
#we chose macrocystis because every other kelp was rotting at that time of year    #we kept the crabs 12 to a sea table because we were sharing the space and couldnt use more    #the crabs were subject to a non-natural light cycle because other researchers kept leaving the lights on overnight (via Dicrocoeliumdendriticum)
Archaeologist. We sometimes choose places to dig because our gut says âthis is nice, Iâd settle hereâ. Iâve had field directors say âthis has paleo energyâ about areas. Often we see big hill in our dig area, we dig on big hill.Â
Most recently, Iâve found two sites because I was walking to my next hole and saw some petrified wood I wanted. Started picking up pieces and saw a half buried biface lmao.Â
Other site, I was walking and imagined a little native girl running along the ridge. I had a gut feeling to dig like 5m from where the hole was. Found a utilized petrified wood flake. Couldâve written it off as a plow fact, but due to all the pet wood Iâd been collecting throughout the area (Iâm a greedy little thing who wants pretty rocks), I knew the was it was broken was inconsistent to how the pet wood naturally breaks.Â
What sealed the deal for me was cleaning the mud off, and it cut me so, yup, definitely utilized.Â
So glad you commented this because I was looking for the term for âpeople saw a pretty rock and took it with themâ forEVER now and couldnât find it. Fuckin love manuports

Did I daydream this, or was there a website for writers with like. A ridiculous quantity of descriptive aid. Like I remember clicking on " inside a cinema " or something like that. Then, BAM. Here's a list of smell and sounds. I can't remember it for the life of me, but if someone else can, help a bitch out <3
I FOUND IT BITCHES
This is going to save me so much trouble in the future.

Hilda by Duane Bryers
More Hilda!!
in this family we love and support Hilda.
Yes! Hilda!
What i love about this artistâs depictions of women is even the sexualized ones the woman is always genuinely happy and enjoying herself. Frolicking or making funny faces, sheâs living her life and looking sexy while doing it, not sitting in a sexual pose for the audienceâs view.
I always forget about Hilda and am so pleased when she randomly shows up on my dash. Always makes my day
I love Hilda so much and I want her to be happy
My favorite thing is how Hilda is always doing something and having a BLAST! Sheâs not posing coyly for anyone, sheâs having her own adventures and itâs not about the viewer at all
Always reblog Hilda!

I made this meme 2 years ago, and I've since seen it sent back to me by several people telling me "this has you vibes", which is never not funny.

[id: screenshots of tiktok captions. the images say, âbut the only reason we still love princess diana is because she did not have the time to disappoint us.â]
begging queer kids to read up on princess dianaâs involvement with the community. yes, she was a rich, pretty monarch. yes, she died young.
but the reason why queer people love her is because she used her privilege during the aids crisis to advocate for sick queer men, when very few others would - much less someone of her status.
diana spent years advocating for the health and care of queer people with hiv/aids. in 1987, at the height of the epidemic, she opened the first specialist clinic dedicated to treating aids patients (the first clinic of itâs kind in the uk).
she also fought public hysteria by hugging and shaking bare hands with aids patients, at a time when aids was thought to be spread by skin to skin contact. not only that, she visited patients in the clinic regularly and even comforted them through their sickness.
and when queen elizabeth told her to try focusing on âsomething more pleasantâ?
diana ignored her and kept fighting.
and this is only her work towards the aids crisis. she publicly called out the royal family, brought attention to numerous world issues, and was known as an advocate for empathy and kindness. sheâs known and loved as the peopleâs princess for good reason
this scene from the goes wrong show where they cast two different people as the head and hunky, semi-nude body of the same character during a live theatre production haunts my every waking moment
