I LOVE SAM AND CAIT

Yesterday was Outlander Day, and Starz took the opportunity to release the new teaser for season 2. Honestly, I didn't even notice, and today, checking the sites, it's been a pretty lackluster announcement. There are hardly any fan reviews, only from the specialized press, and the view and reblog numbers haven't been spectacular either. There's hardly any hype, and the fandom is still dealing with the end of the original series.

And the way they're trying to involve the fandom with this new show doesn't help.

One apt comment was that BoMB is the Temu version of Outlander, and it couldn't have been more cruel and, at the same time, more accurate: all the elements we loved in the first seasons, but they end up being a sad copy/paste job, trying to recreate something unique.

They're even trying to push the Jamie-Harriet pairing… but chemistry is what it is.

Anyway, the new season premieres on September 18th.

Sam wearing a wedding band on his wedding finger while running a marathon is a BIG deal and one of the biggest receipts for me. He doesn’t have to sell a fake engagement and wear a phony ring like Caitriona does. There isn’t a logical reason for a single, unmarried bachelor to be wearing a gold wedding band. Infact I don’t know of any single man (never before married) who wears a wedding ring for the sake of it. Unless Sam is married; I am struggling to find a logical explanation for it……
