Back in the days when I wasn't even here yet and had absolutely no idea that Outlander existed, life was beautifully simple.

As his grand takeaway from An Afternoon Tea at the Chateau Marmont - the event hosted by Vanity Fair and Burberry in Los Angeles in October 2014 - the Main Character managed to produce exactly one word: Sassenach! X

The "X", naturally, stands for a kiss 😉

Incidentally, the photo is of spectacularly poor quality. Much better pictures were taken at the event.

. . . A little postscript that amused me: only a few days ago I was making rather ungenerous remarks about Jeremy Irvine's acting abilities . Isn't it funny that back in 2014, the Protagonists were attending the very same Hollywood parties as Jeremy Irvine, who, I have to say, looked positively baby-faced at the time?

Sam was very angry with this interviewer about bringing up the Kilt Daddy nickname. Very defensive. Sophie and Rick were squirming in their seats. Where was Kilt Mama? Home with the kids perhaps? 🤔

Caitríona appeared in LA in early January (and stayed until March).

Sam would already be in LA. He was due to go to NZ soon to film Men In Kilts, but...

...He delayed his trip for weeks (He, in fact, had been postponing his trip to NZ since December 2021)...

And what a coincidence to have one of the clinics (Pause) so close to Villa No Ego.

There may have been a convenient ‘motorbike accident’ to delay Sam in the same city as Cait while a delivery was made! Something that required some mummy recovery time at a nearby Pause.Studio???

Imo Number 5 came along between December 2021 and March 2022. Cait is heavily pregnant (trying to pass as postpartum) in the first pic and real life postpartum in March 2022. She posted her ‘first baby’ announcement knowing she would be showing third tri during Belfast promo/awards events. She needed to time the ‘birth’ announcement to allow for pregnancy cover. Clearly she had the baby earlier in 2021 because she filmed OL heavily pregnant and dates don’t work for filming that and an August ‘first birth’. She needed ‘August baby promo’ to seem postpartum when actually pregnant. They had to hit the PAUSE button in January 2022!!

Cait’s clearly been pregnant many times over the course of Outlander with Sam’s babies. They protect the ‘Single Fantasy Jamie, I mean Sam’ obsession and rewarded handsomely!

We have seen this between SC multiple times (quite recently one of them) but we are dellusionals. Yeah! MY FOOT.

Season 4 didn't give us a lot to rewatch (looking at you, episode 7), so I'll take what pleasant moments I can find. Like this one right here.

As lip reading goes, this one's pretty straightforward. He's facing the camera full-on. Whether lip reading is your thing or not, it's readily apparent that he's said something to both his and Cait's delight. They're both tickled by it.

And who wouldn't be? What he said was:

"... home to get laid."

Yep. Plain as day, even with the pixellation from zooming in. Go back to the first gif. He says it.

One more thing:

See how his chin is dipped down when he says these deliciously naughty words? That can only mean he's dropped his voice down a notch.

He's talking sexy, y'all.

This is Sam and Cait, not Jamie and Claire. Sam and Cait know where the camera is; Jamie and Claire are characters in the 18th century... no cameras.
