More than a month later I'm still thinking about the TV finale so before I post the last 810 story segment, here are the remainder of the official Jamie photos, a final BTS video from STARZ, and The Paley Center celebration.

Yes, I am deeply mourning the end of seeing Sam play Jamie Fraser. It’s terrible he never received any award recognition for his tremendous performance.

I don't know how I'm going to emotionally manage to read Diana's final book, but obviously, I will. I think she'll do a more satisfying job of wrapping the story since words on a page are limitless and inexpensive.

I think I’ll still have more to say about Series 8 and the finale. There’s also Lord John Grey to address.

In Jurassic Park, one of the scenes that I believe impacted my life in a way I couldn't imagine then was when Dr. Alan Grant saw the Brachiosaurus for the first time.

Sam Neill's performance there, capture the amazement I had seeing that seemingly living, breathing dinosaur for the first time.

I can't imagine the amount of people who'm Sam Neill has inspired among his many roles.

I'm gonna be honest

In the meantime Cait strikes his arm and nodes her head, with her eyes she points towards a direction. Sam gets it quickly, laughs and he tells her something.

Did you know that Sam Heughan’s original inspiration for Claire while preparing for his role in Outlander came from a portrait in our own collection? When Sam first read Cross Stitch, he used a postcard of Lady Agnew, as a bookmark after visiting the National gallery in Edinburgh. Struck by the portrait’s resemblance to Claire, it became his visual inspiration for the character. You can see Gertrude Vernon, Lady Agnew of Lochnaw (1892) for yourself, free to visit at the National, and even pick up your own copy of the book Sam is holding.
