you hate trans men who arent passing/are neverpassing and who will never be able to access hrt and who live in countries that lack actual healthcare, and countries that oppose rights for anyone born female, and it’s really sad to see. you throw us ALL under the bus for validation from people (republicans, radfems/terfs, all transphobes, conservatives, etc) who hate you and want you dead. Very sad. you should try to actually, really genuinely listen to and try to care about trans men who dont have the privileges you have access to and who never will have those privileges instead of trying to be “one of the good ones” because the goalposts will always shift every time you do so.
Look friend, I know it's hard out there. I don't expect anything good to come from Republicans, Terfs, conservatives or government officials.
I spent all of high school, undergraduate and most of my 20s overwhelmed by the choices and trade-offs involved in transitioning. I struggled academically thru high school and undergraduate due to my mental health and transition related difficulties. I lost touch with my religious parents for years. I struggled with the choices between giving up and ending things and finding some kind of safe person or space to move forward. I would never suggest that the road to transition is easy.
Am I still a lucky one? Sure. I happened to come out at a particularly good time in history compared to folks older and younger than me. I'm just someone who's made it so far, and trying to offer any scrap of advice or help that might be useful to folks trying to follow similar paths.
Do I have some thoughts about how becoming a man can be a mental thing and/or a physical thing? Sure. I don't really think there's one right path or method to it. In a lot of ways, becoming a man or flavor of gender of your choice is just the difficult process of becoming an adult. That's a simple sentence for an on-going, in my experience decades long project to understand more as I go about all of it.
I am aware that there are many people in countries other than the US and other relatively fortunate places that have a much harder road to a place they can feel comfortable. I probably would not have gotten where I am in this journey without many small things and a big things going my way despite my small challenges. I don't know if there are any resources in other languages or other communities. I won't have time in my life to learn everything everyone needs to know.
The only other advice I've got other than anything I've thrown together in my off-time is just finding adult or same-aged mentors as close to you as you can. I know that's not satisfactory for all situations, I wish that the world was coming along faster for everyone in our situations.
You are free to dislike me if that helps you getting by, since I don't have anything really concrete to offer.
