People hate Richard Branson. What they should really hate is the system that made his lifestyle possible.
I can multitask.
Okay, it makes perfect sense that Disney thought Cruella could be an character to give a sympathetic backstory. Cruella's original story is very much one of capitalism-personal desire out weighing the lives of people deemed insignificant. She doesn't see the puppies as living things but a product. So, yes, I get why Disney execs related to her

Passing (2015). A documentary about trans men of color.
[ID: Excerpts from scenes with two interviewees.
The first trans man, Lucah Rosenberg Lee, says “I was in a heterosexual relationship. I was female. I would question this all the time. Am I attracted to these men, or do I just want to be them? That was a big turning point in my own self-discovery.”
The second trans man, Victor Thomas, speaks about his experiences with transphobia. He says, “You’re subjected to something because they don’t understand you. And you have to watch the way you react, because you’re a man now. People take you as a threat."
Lucah, in another scene, talks about experiencing racism and the erasure of trans men in LGBT+ communities. He says, "Being so invisible within the LGBT+ community can actually feel so isolating. When people don't know about my history as a trans person, I feel sometimes that I'm viewed as more of an enemy." END ID.]
Trans men have always been around. We deserve access to LGBT+ spaces, no matter how masculine and cis-passing we are.
Being masculine is not wrong or dangerous. Being a man is not wrong or dangerous. Trans men of color deserve to be safe, and to be treated with love. Trans men are being excluded, from history and from our own spaces, and this is wrong. Please support trans men of color. Please support trans men. Please support men. Men belong in trans spaces.

I think like, one of the biggest things I'd say to anyone wearing dresses or skirts for the first time, is that it's a skill you practice and get better at. One thing I experienced and that I see with a lot of trans girls or fem guys is finding a dress or skirt you really love, it's your favorite style, favorite color, looks just like something you've always wanted to wear, then you put it on and you're crushed that it doesn't look as good as you thought.
And like, I'm gonna put to the side the whole concept of forming a good idea of what clothes make you look the way you want to look cause that's a whole skill in itself. Even assuming that everything is perfect about it, it fits perfect, matches your aesthetic perfect, etc, there's still a very real chance you'll look in the mirror and cringe.
And like, ultimately, it's just because you're not used to seeing yourself in a dress yet. You don't know how to hold yourself yet. You're self conscious and uncomfortable and that shows in your body language and it colors your judgment of yourself. We all know that this is true of walking in heels, but the same is true of any new article of clothing or accessory. Wearing a watch without getting annoyed by the bulk is a skill. Wearing a necklace and not getting it caught in things and not fiddling with it constantly is a skill. Shaving is a skill. Wearing glasses is a skill. Most of these things we don't put any thought to because we've done them so many times, but doing them for the first time always looks and feels clumsy and unnatural. And I think a great example is how when you look at yourself right after getting a haircut you probably cringe too! Because you're not used to seeing yourself with hair that looks like this yet. But after a week or two it looks totally natural again.
The same is true of skirts and dresses. They look good on every kind of body, on people of every gender. But if you're not used to wearing them, you're gonna think it looks weird. But you don't. You look great! You just need practice until it feels as natural as any other article of clothing. So wear it alone in your room. Wear it while walking around the house. Wear it when you have friends over. Slowly work up to this just being something you don't think twice about wearing out being seen in, and suddenly you'll find your whole perspective changes. Rather than seeing that shrinking cringing uncomfortable girl in the mirror, you'll see just a regular woman in a regular dress, standing tall, standing naturally, and I promise you'll like it much much more.

I don't dress like a "boy" or a "girl", I dress like you should not ask me to lift any heavy items
why would you hide this in the tags
the problem with horror now is there is no men in little tank tops and booty shorts
AND YET A TRACE OF THE TRUE SELF EXISTS IN THE FALSE SELF
this post is about plastic dinosaurs
huh so much wlw content seems centered around this idea of looking perfect and quaint and it feels so wrong to me. i hate seeing art of two skinny girls w full faces of makeup barely kissing in a pastel color palette. when i thought i was straight so much of my time was consumed by thinking “do i look good enough for others?” “am i digestible?” and that exact concept is.. the same shit just flipped on it’s head. i don’t love girls cause i think they’re ~stars twinkling in the evening~ i like them because they’re funny and loud and strong and real human beings and so much more than your aesthetic
Also i think when yr questioning your wlw attraction it’s really easy to look at these very watered down, un-inclusive wlw content and not feel anything…and then think that you aren’t wlw when really it’s just because most wlw content has such a narrow view of womanhood…
you’re hearing it more and more

For a small monthly payme-” Me: *nods, turns off Spotify and turns on my MP3 player and does all the things they offer, but for free and with songs they don’t even have*
For those of you who might not know how to do any of this:
To convert CD audio into mp3s, you just follow the steps here
To play mp3 files, you download an mp3 player like Winamp here and away you go
On mobile? There are plenty of free mp3 players for your phone available, too, so check them out
You don’t need to be tethered to an online streaming service for your music. Be free.
You can also rip audio files from youtube and find files all over the internet. It is far easier to come across great and lesser known music if you dont limit yourself to spotify.

YOURE TELLING ME ELON MUSK HOSTED SNL AND EVERYONE FUCKING HATED IT????
AND DOGECOIN TANKED BECAUSE THE SKITS SUCKED ASS SO BAD???
I know a lot of y’all just like love to cheer for his downfall or whatever but I’d like to remind everyone that he actually does have Aspergers and that’s why his jokes didn’t “land”. You can hate on his ethics all you want to but it’s bold af for someone to host SNL especially when they have a syndrome that limits their ability to do that and invites ridicule.
I assure you his mental divergence had nothing to do with his jokes missing their mark. One skit was called Gen Z Hospital and was loaded on nothing but horribly misused AAVE. That was it. There was no punchline outside of using AAVE improperly. That has nothing to do with him being on the autism spectrum and everything to do with him being an out of touch billionaire boomer trying to belittle the generation that most often sees through his bullshit.
He’s also, despite his claim in his monologue, not the only SNL host to be neurodivergent. Dan Akroyd, former cast member and later host, is also on the autism spectrum and has spoken often about it.
He also still owns an emerald mine in Africa and is a fucking trash person who tries to be repeatable despite being a fucking dickbag. I know plenty of neurodivergent people who are genuinely funny as fuck and have great senses of humor. Elongated Muskrat just sucks.
I’m nuerodivergent and funny as hell! It’s not the ASD he’s just unfunny.

How can you be on a site where like 60% of the funny posts come from autistic trans people and say shit like this
Weird, eerily-specific 2000s memory: logos, usually for health orgs, with people who looked like this.
