Except given the connotations of coke when it was written, the most accurate addaptation would be COmmunity College english professor who wears tweed that double-barrels 5-hour energy when he needs to think.

Do you ever think about what it would have been like to be one of Jonathan Crane’s students. Halfway through the semester this teacher who’s racked up a million student complaints for being such an ass just becomes a supervillain without grading your fucking midterms.

Of all the YA fiction I read as a kid, Animorphs left the biggest impact. It’s ending was a big part of it.
