Hello! You may call me Curio and refer to me by both She/Her and He/Him pronouns.

I am a shifter and practice non-dualism. I currently have shifted a few times, although not for very long. I am biased to awake methods.

I'm an animist, panentheist, and I partake in celebrations and rituals as well as worship deities from my cultures. On top of my folk practice, I'm also a Hellenic Polytheist.

I intend for this blog to be about the things I previously mentioned: reality shifting and non-dualism, folk practice (animism and panentheism too), and helpol.

To me, my religiosity and reality shifting are intertwined. I don't see many religious shifters, so if you are then I would love to hear your thoughts and perspective!

Shifting is very interesting because you expect it to be some kind of magical process but in reality it's like one second you're here, and then you blink and suddenly you're there, and maybe you blink a few more times and it flickers between the two until you end up in whichever.

When it's flickering between the two, I tend to get this weird feeling of like I'm in two places at once until it settles.

I feel that the deeper you get into the magical, may that be shifting, folk practices, occultism, etc. the more you learn to appreciate the mundane. Go and have lighthearted, simple, conversations with others. Things shouldn't have to be serious all the time, it's important to have fun too.

Matter of fact, you can probably incorporate fun "mundane" things into your practice. You can listen to music as a form of manifestation, aimlessly drive to meditate, read a book from your culture to honor your ancestors, etc.

Personally, I shift for:

my friendships

environments (like Pandora from Avatar for example)

to practice hobbies and skills

foods 😋

for the sake of science!
