I was tagged by @queennymeria to share 5 facts about an OC and I went a little overboard lmao but this was so fun, thank you darling!

She has an insane fear of needles. I find it hilarious to give her this fear in this universe purely because that’s how you stay alive most of the time lmao. Hers originated when she was 5 and needed a tetanus jab after falling on a rake at the farm - she screamed the entire time. At the asylum, the constant treatments made it worse and made her spiral, and down the line when she’s kidnapped, she faces her fear to save Leon (which she then decides to tackle and donate her blood each month so she can overcome it - but she doesn’t fully) but if she’s injured on the field, she only uses tablets. Everyone knows that and will not give her a needle unless it’s an emergency

Down the line (when she’s 50ish) she does start vaping. She doesn’t do it daily, and will only do it after a stressful day to help calm her down but she refuses to get addicted. She also only uses CBD/CBG juice because it truly calms down her chaotic mind and helps her sleep better. Everyone agrees it’s better than booze or cigarettes (for her anyway) but she doesn’t shun anyone else for how they cope - especially her boys

A lot of the weapons (special ones) in game are made by Izzy. They’re nicknamed ‘Dizzy Specials’ so whenever some one enters the scene - looking at you Chris - they mention it’s a secret bonus from her to help out cus she can’t be there in person. The umbrella canon Jill uses in 3 is redesigned to be smaller (like in vendetta) and Izzy made that at Jill’s request, the war vehicle in 8 that Chris takes to the village, any grenades people hand to one another, the rifle Piers uses and so on - they’re all made by her

She is borderline anorexic. Her time at the asylum made her unhealthily skinny, and then after that the habit somewhat stuck. Due to all the trauma, or just because she genuinely forgets to, she rarely eats a full meal. People have to force her to sit and eat a lot of the time and even then it’s a small portion. When she gets in a relationship with Leon, he knew about the unhealthy habit but makes a deliberate point to help her and encourage her. She gets back to a healthier weight when she’s about 40 (early days in their relationship) and part of that is because they cook together and have fun, making the whole process easier for her

During her DLC, she is revealed to have been infected since 1996 - wayyyyy before Raccoon City and the T-Virus. Dr Franklin from the asylum, used her as his guinea pig after she survived his initial experiments with his own virus. The asylum is owned by umbrella, so unwanted people (the patients) were good test subjects, and Franklin was assigned there after showing erratic behaviour himself (basically they wanted to get rid of him). Izzy’s blood fused with his samples but showed no immediate symptoms, so he continued to build his virus using her blood. He tested on more patients but didn’t get the same outcome as her, so years later he tracks her down to finalise his plans - hence the kidnapping. Her infection is similar to Sherry and Jill, but more so the former in that once the virus is activated in her - which is hadn’t been this whole time - she can heal/regenerate and is unable to be infected by any virus. I’m undecided where this leaves her work wise, as Leon and Chris fake her death to protect her from the BSAA mole responsible for her disappearance and misinformation, but she deffo uses her blood donations for the antibodies and to make vaccines in secret

Tagged by the hottest @50sjello to give five facts about an oc! Doing Ginger because she’s the favorite right now!

She organizes her various dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, jackets, etc by color and type. She’s very particular about it and will notice if someone messes with them.

She only wears pastel colors. The darkest color she’ll wear is a deep cranberry or dark green. Nothing darker than that.

At the age of eleven, she domesticated a Humandrill (they’re basically baboons but like seven feet tall) and named it Cocomo. He’s been her companion ever since and she’ll match the color of the ribbon around his wrist to whatever color she’s wearing that day. Mihawk wasn’t amused when she presented an argument to keep him. He relented.

Ginger’s manner of speech teeters on having that transatlantic accent (Greta took on the accent too to hide her identity) mixed with the way Mihawk speaks. Very precise, large words. Basically, she sounds posh.

Ginger experiences vivid inherited Haki dreams connected to her bloodline, including visions of Greta, Gardenia, S/hanks, Sham/rock, Ga/rling, and possible futures. She keeps a private notebook to document her Haki dreams, treating them like evidence to piece together her past and lineage.
