I tag for roughly two months after a game has released, and only do light tags after(Game Name, but not character name etc.).

In 2016 a doctor noted my elevated platelet count and for 9 years every other doctor would see it, and ignore it. :)

Until my new doctor last year, when I came in and described mostly perimenopause sounding symptoms, looked at my blood results and went 'that's some wildly high platelets... for 9 years? off to oncology/hematology with you!'

And there I have been in and out for months, and now it's a bit of a fork in the road. You see it's either me being 'reactive' to something, likely an allergy, likely cats. If today's results were within normal they would send me off to an allergist, and if THEY found nothing, back to hematology.

Or its a very specific, rare blood cancer. And if my results today were high they would either do genetic testing(expensive) or a bone marrow draw (DO NOT LOOK THIS UP IF YOU FEAR NEEDLES!!!!!!!) which is... as you might guess, painful AF, to see if I had said cancer. If I did not; allergy tests, if yes; then proceed to management. This very specific rare cancer is not curable, it isn't treatable beyond symptom management. I might live a mostly normal life, I might get a clot and have a stroke and that's it.

The issue here is today's results... were on the fucking absolute number value line.

Now, what is likely is that I just have an allergy to cats, and should get treated.

But I have for MONTHS and months been pissing myself in fear that I have a rare blood cancer in my bones. I just want to KNOW, I just want to knoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

anyways, secretly this has made EVERYTHING harder, including shit like social media, conversations with friends, playing video games, my perimenopause symptoms are made worse with stress, and I am STRESSSSSSED
