I know they've written her out of the story completely, but I loved Cara Dune. Not Carano, but Dune. If there's ever the tiniest logical way to bring her back into the story, I hope they recast Cara and give her back to us.

Something I love that comes out of the inconsistencies in psych is that in season 3 ep. 2, Shawn says in his speech that he and Gus had been best friends since they were five. However, in season 4 ep. 13, Shawn also says that he and Gus used to bathe together and Gus responds, when they were three. Meaning that they knew each other since they were three, but didn’t decide to be best friends until they were five. They needed a few years to figure that out.

My favorite psych "oops the writers werent paying attention" is that it is technically canon that a bandana counts as a hat but a beanie does not because its a cap

One of the benefits of watching psych (2006) is that in most shows with a weird protagonist you find yourself asking why are you like this but in psych you don't do that because you just saw. You just saw 10 minutes ago at the start of the episode when Henry was putting him in a trunk

Henry was a cop with photographic memory and Madie was a shrink with perfect recall. All things considered Shawn actually turned out remarkably well

its good to acknoweldge the hollowness of revenge but sometimes you really do just need a story about someone who gets hurt and then kills and kills and kills and kills their enemies. its cathartic, babey.

"there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's no point in killing you" and "there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's nothing that can save you" are two themes that can and should co-exist
