yeah i did but fr that’s just not my situation anymore lol. honestly i have never felt consciously Nonbinary and i have never actually liked being referred to with they pronouns but it felt like the best shorthand at the time to express like, i’m not not a woman but i also feel a certain level of disconnect with societal definitions of Womanhood lol

okay i’m not joking, please do not try and crack my nonexistent egg, i responded with a JOKE because i’m secure in my gender identity and am happy to sort of have a laugh when somebody else semi jokingly suggests transition to me. i know you think you’re being fun and cute with this but it’s not appreciated at all, please don’t do this

honestly get help early and often, be vulnerable and totally honest, tell people who have the power to help you irl (be that friends, family, uni support staff, medical professionals, etc etc) that you feel this way and ask what practical support you can get from them. i can 100% trace the seeds of my current dissatisfaction back to late sixth form/early undergrad when i was your age and i genuinely think i’d be in such a happier place now if i’d been honest about my emotional state, really locked in on getting an adhd diagnosis & accommodations earlier, and MOST IMPORTANTLY focused on the exceptionally tricky but really really important job of knowing, in the context of depression and apathy and executive dysfunction, when to rest vs when to actually push yourself and move through it. because i’ll be totally real i stayed in my comfort zone rather than being bold and especially in a career field where networking is so important i cannot express enough how much that nerfed me. you are still SOOOO young and you have so much time to turn everything around but at the same time the sooner you try to do that the happier and easier it will ultimately make things down the line
