2/3rds of my way thru a Pitt S2 rewatch, and god, Fiona Dourif is so good! McKay is such an underrated character
sooooo good i lowkey did not pay enough attention to mckay on my first s2 watch & was initially a little like oh! huh. when fiona dourif got her emmy nom bc i’d convinced myself she had waaaay less meat than in season 1. like not in a “she acted badly” way moreso “i swear mckay didn’t do enough this season to be an Emmy Role”. but actually i thought about it although she has less of a discrete Plotline compared to the ankle monitor/clashing with robby over the kid with the hit list/mentoring javadi/chad arcs in s1 she still gets sooo much to play with emotionally between like, her plotline with roxie (shoutout to brittany allen for her nomination btw!), her “friends who wanted to see how close the edge was” scene with robby, her interactions with langdon, her street team empathy crash course with ogilvie etc…. i may have done her dirty
