Coming back to tumblr for the express purpose of posting somewhere about an obscure 1950s sitcom that I am suddenly obsessed with is so tumblr lmao

Not going to say what that blog is named, not actually trying to cross promo with my forgotten hodge podge tumblr but it IS funny and this is what my therapist told me to do when I said it bummed me out I had no one to talk to abt it ✌️

Which reminds me. The work colleague who makes display signage using AI art is finally getting told to knock it off bc a reference librarian overheard some patrons mocking said AI art the other day and also bc we got a write in comment about how disappointed the commenter was that the public library ie an information center would use AI. We come to the brick and mortar library to get away from that etc etc etc. So, you know. Be loud and annoying about it in public, maybe you’ll get lucky and it’ll do something.

still believe that one of the greatest bits of all time was on January 6th, 2021 when. well. you know. and twitter was understandably an echo chamber of panic and fear and Justin McElroy just tweeted a selfie with a filter that was like “have a delicious national spaghetti day” followed by 3 tweets that were like “fuck. i’m sorry. i don’t know how to delete scheduled posts” and as i type this two years later i’m laughing

Horsedog & doghorse

That looks like an Ovcharka or Alabai dog, which are livestock guardians, bred to protect the farm’s animals. So they aren’t only friends, that dog probably raised and protects that horse.
