Feeling more emo about moving out of this place than my first one tbh! This was the apartment I started a business in, the one I lived in when my best friend moved a block away, the one that I spent so much time feeling big, sad, impossible things in. The place where I fit my whole friend group in on an air mattress in the living room for a sleepover before any of them had kids. I cooked so many meals at this shitty stove that doesn’t even work right. I made pancakes and pasta with my best friend here. I spent so much time in here feeling like this was the best life would ever get, spent so much time feeling like I’d never find romantic love, and then doing so much therapy in here to get to a place where I could maybe be hopeful.
