and we were early so we walked by the coffee shop and they were closing up because it was like 7pm, and i was looking longingly at the few doughnuts they had left in the case. and we talked to the girl for a bit and i was about to walk away from the doughnuts but he was like, 'well you're about to throw those away for the night anyway, can we just have them?' and she struggled for a moment, because they weren't TECHNICALLY closed yet so she could have charged us for them, but she eventually said fine and piled all of the doughnuts on a tray and gave them to us.

and i was sooooooooooooooooo happy and thanking him and kissing him fjdkhjkrdghfkl

so then we sat down and I cut them all in half (even though I knew he wasn't going to want any of them) and started eating them. then his interviewee came and they were doing the interview at the table and I was still shoving them in my face LOL. but they didn't care.
