HEROES. IN. THE. DARK                                                                                      I cannot stress this enough, Heroes in the Dark by Iffondrel is a god among fics for Tokoyami stans. The fic follows what would have happened if Tokoyami got kidnapped by the league. It makes me simp for any Tokoyami and Dabi content. Big~ Brother~ Dabi~ I read this entire fic too quickly for it to be healthy. The fic is an ongoing masterpiece. Go check out the authors Tumblr @heroes-in-the-dark

Do you want some extreme angst????                                                          Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust by  Mymindisfloodedwithideas was an emotional roller coaster. Trigger warnings for past S*xu*al Ab*se, Alc*hol Ab*se and other childhood trauma. The fic does actually get kind of hard to read in some parts, but in my opinions it’s worth it. The fic is a good crispy slowburn that includes Shoutoko/ Bakutoko :) This fic was one of the few that incorporates the importance of Tokoyami’s choker, and I am a simp for this one scene of Bakugou and Tokoyami. Chile anyways, Please be careful while reading

I don’t know what to call this other than cool, but                                            Birds of a Feather Commit Treason Together by DarthPeezy was absolutely grand. Hawks  and Tokoyami start a war! It’s written in a SUPER interesting way, that I absolutely loved. 10/10 Highly reccomend(I guess I kinda recommend all of these, don’t I…)

It’s set in this AU that I would be terrible at explaining, so here’s a part of the description: Izuku, outlaw rebel and chosen heir to the crown, is wounded during a battle while fighting the Regent’s men. He comes upon EverMoor Tavern, owned and operated by Fumikage Tokoyami, a pagan herbalist fighting for the same cause. Izuku takes shelter in Tokoyami’s cellar, a common hiding place for men of the Good King, who fight to save the people from the Regent’s vicious rule. GO READ IT

Yet another Tokodeku                                                                                      Soular Eclipse by Flyweeabooty is *chefs kiss*. There’s so much happening in this fic that I love. Its like a slow burn, but its a 3rd degree burn. I read it a while ago, but one thing I remember is Deku being a simp and jumping out of a window for his bird boo. They also do be sharing f e e l i n g s~ Its cute, its got a pinch of angst, its got a pinch of being injured every chapter… (They also have a Tumblr @fly-weeabooty)

who thought of that idea? who thought “put davy jones in a bucket of water” and had the guts to suggest it aloud? and then who went “hey that sounds like a great idea!”

Some folks are asking “well, if he can avoid the no-dry-land curse simply by standing in a bucket, doesn’t that ruin his whole motivation?”, but he’s not on dry land here.

The parley takes place on a sandbar - which, for the unfamiliar, is a temporary “island” of sand deposited by breaking waves, unconnected with the shore, that spends most of its time submerged, being exposed only at low tide.

What Jones is doing here is rules-lawyering his curse. Can you imagine the trial and error he must have gone through in order to determine that this would actually work?

“Okay, do islands count as dry land? How about parts of the shore below the high tide mark? Reefs? Shoals? What if I stand in a pool of water on a shoal? Does it have to be seawater, or will any water do? Does it have to be a natural tidepool, or can it be something artificial, like a bucket?”

I’ve had some pretty wild depression the past couple years. I’m finally starting to work through it - with art. This is the first piece I’ve made for myself in around ten years, and… yeah.

@kiki-kit will literally just steal your money and never produce any finished art. I ordered a monochrome sketch from them for 40 bucks, and paid up front. It’s been 5-6 months with no finished product, and they haven’t answered any of my emails. Just took my payment and ran with it.
