Guess it's a hot take as a Sokka fan to say I'm glad they didn't go with having him look like Hakoda for his movie design, given a huge fucking detail in the show is that he looks like his mom!!!!

Like let him be pretty like Kya? I love the fact that even in his late 20s/early 30s, he's still got soft features. We know when he hits his 40s, he gets more 'rugged' and looks more like his dad, but holding onto pretty like mama a little longer is nice imo

Frankly, I love all of Zuko's designs too, I understand why they went with the long hair look in the end, given he ended up growing it out based on Korra, but I dunno, I would have liked him to keep his short hair for a while longer! Also, all his outfits are incredible; the detail is amazing, I like them all a lot more than the final design for the movie tbh

Anyway, I am already extremely excited about the fanart that is going to be made of these designs, especially from the Zukka artists on Twitter who are losing their collective minds, and I am ready to feast!
