The American cheeseburger is a classic that will always be a favorite. It's juicy, cheesy, and full of all your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced onions. Ketchup and mustard.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare burgers, or longer for desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and close the grill to melt the cheese. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until they are lightly browned. Assemble your cheeseburgers by placing lettuce, tomato, and onion slices on the bottom bun. Add the cooked patty with melted cheese on top. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top bun and place it over the patty. Serve hot with your favorite sides and enjoy!
