Presumably it was supposed to project an image of utter masculinity.... which would surely test even the most soulless of generative AI programs, but this... THIS?

This may simultaneously be amongst the most horrifying AND most gay things I've seen in my long life.

The closest thing I can think of is those old Sino/Soviet posters all about men striving together which just looks like they're a slightly adorable gay couple, sometimes bringing up their kids together.

The central image strives for manliness, though I can only hear Jabba the Hutt's theme playing in my head as I look at it.

Friendly reminder as we get closer to the launch of the ModRetro M64. ModRetro is owned by Palmer Lucky, a self described “Radical Zionist” who fundraises for Donald Trump.

Palmer Lucky also has another company, called Anduril Industries, that manufactures and sells AI powered weapons and surveillance systems. ModRetro even sells Anduril branded gameboys that were made from the same metal that they use to manufacture attack drones.

Things are finally moving forward for Archives: The Nanyang Mystery, aka Southern Archives.

The current release date is rumored to be June 10, and, looking at the activity on their Weibo page, they really seem to gear up for release this time. (Don't disappoint me yet again, drama!)

There seems to be some discussion on how many episodes there will actually be in the end, with some people saying it may have been cut down to 24 episodes, so I guess we can only wait and hope for the best.

Personally, I'm just happy it's finally coming out. 🚢
