Tell me I have bad taste but I love this movie.

I was avoiding this film for so many years because I've read and heard so many people say, that it's really bad.

But last night, this film singlehandedly restored my faith in love, in finding a partner that matches my energy, I would almost go so far and say, it restored my faith in humanity.

Do you know what the song "Losing Streak" reminds me of? The song "Why Don't You Do Right" by Jessica Rabbit from *Who Framed Roger Rabbit*. --------- Let's start with the simplest part: the lyrics. While Jessica reprimands a lazy man who lives solely off her money, Angel is amused by the addiction of gamblers. Both songs deal with money and irresponsible men. The clothing and hairstyles of the two women are also striking. Jesica wears a red, glittering evening gown with a high slit and long gloves. Angel wears a black-and-red, glittering evening gown, also with long gloves. Both sport the same hairstyle—featuring bangs and voluminous hair. And both wear Lipstick.

It is also striking that Eddie Valiant (the protagonist) and Husker (whose perspective is shown) both wear a hat. And both seem to be more or less taken with the singer.

Both of them treat the men in the room—who seem captivated by them—quite badly. They appear to want to make fools of them a little.

Stage curtains play a role for both of them—at the beginning for Jessica, and at the end for Angel.

In the end, the horrified faces of Eddie and Husker remain.

The big difference, however, is that Eddie receives a near-kiss of an erotic nature, while Husker is ignored by Angel. Angel simply dances right past him.
