I redesigned Pafu and Aroma’s human forms! Pafu is taller, as she is much taller as a doggie compared to her brother, too. Aroma should also be chubby as a human, they made him very long and thin for really no reason, which is also a problem in general with Go! Princess Precure’s design.

I (was, I’m on a MLP high now) riding a Disney High because I’m hyper fixating on Dr. Facilier’s fine ass. HE’S HOT AND I LOVE HIS VOICE AND HE’S ALSO SO CHARMING IN WAYS BESIDES HIS VILLAINOUS CHARM. HIS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ARE WONDERFUL, HE’S quite silly to me (look up Dr. Facilier Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom, the video with his beautiful silliness has a Japanese title) I adore this man (this ain’t about him tho)

So I decided to redesign my PreCure based on Disney Princesses. This one is also an oldie turned into goodie, with the idea that other characters I didn’t make Cures of would be a fun extra cures like Cures Infini and Connect. There would an Ariel themed Cure, Pocahontas, Tinkerbell, etc.

The 4th main Cure was originally based on Esmeralda but I decided to switch her for a Cure Mulan (that’s not her name). We still have a Cure Esmeralda, she just appears less.

Insert name is Cure Chere

(Insert Name) is strong-willed and passionate. A dedicated hard worker through and through. Like her inspiration, she’s working hard towards her restaurant, by taking on jobs, looking for shop locations, looking for the best college, etc. She holds firm to her belief about how hard work can make dreams come true, and is very self-disciplined with all her work, as well as her PreCure work. The definition of determination >:D She’s 16 years old

Etymology:

Chere is French for “Dear”, often used in Louisiana Creole slang as a term of endearment, albeit spelled Cher. It used a lot in the movie, usually towards Tiana.

Need a name is Cure Badr

(Need a name) is free-spirited and straightforward. Intensely independent, she makes her that she follows her own path and rules. She’s also open-minded, willing to hear various different opinions and perspectives. She’s also very blunt, telling it like it is and is unafraid of telling the truth. She doesn’t beat around the bush. She’s 17 years old.

Etymology:

Badr (written as بدر) is Arabic for full moon. She was originally named Cure Yazdahir (written as يزدهر) is an Arabic verb meaning “to bloom”, but more along the lines of “prosper and thrive” instead of blooming in a more floral sense. Badr is a reference to who Princess Jasmine is based on, Badroulbadour, the princess in Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" from One Thousand and One Nights. That name means "full moon of full moons", hence Cure Badr.

“Love that blossoms brilliantly like a rose! Cure Briar!”

Cure Briar is romantic and idealistic. Being sheltered and reading fairytales for most of her life, she dreams of nothing more than meeting her Prince Charming (technically Prince Phillip) and living happily ever after and making new friends and meeting new people. She’s also very creative (she’s the one that came up with the group speech shown oh the top of the post) and loves coming up with ideas on how she can improve things, especially as a PreCure. She’s 16 years old

Etymology:

Briar is “a plant (such as a rose, blackberry, or greenbrier) having a usually woody and thorny or prickly stem”. It’s a reference to Princess Aurora’s alias while hiding, Briar Rose.

Gotta have a name is Cure Lóng

“Inner courage that sparks like fireworks! Cure Lóng!”

“Hanabi no yō ni hajikeru, uchinaru yūki! Kyua Ron!”

(Gotta have a name) is resourceful and warm-hearted. Albeit klutzy, she’s an amazing problem solver, a strategic thinker who acts fast when needed. Since Mulan went on her big journey for the sake of protecting her father, (Gotta have a name) is very family oriented. She loves and cherishes them and wants to make them proud, even though they put her under some stress and pressure. She’s 17 years old.

Etymology:

Lóng (written as 龙 in simplified Chinese) is Chinese for dragon.

Yuki Shiromitsu is Cure Neige

“Kindness as sweet as apples that perseveres through a storm! Cure Neige!”

“Arashi ni mo taenuku, ringo no yō ni amai yasashi-sa! Kyua Nēju!”

“嵐にも耐え抜く、林檎のように甘い優しさ！ キュアネージュ！”

Woah a character with a name :0 Yuki is as kind and pleasant as her inspiration. She’s a Yochien Teacher at the Academy the students go to, beloved by all her students and other people that come to her for comfort. For obvious reasons, she’s born in Aomori. She’s 23 years old.

Etymology:

Yuki means snow

Shiro means white

Mitsu means honey, but I’m specifically referring to the Japanese apples with a honey core

Neige is French for snow

Concept Art/Past Designs:

I really like bits of Cure Chere’s 1st design, so I included bits in the recent designs, like her crown/headband given to recent Cure Chere, and her cute arms cuff thingies to Cure Badr. I was also given advice from my Mommy and Daddy that Tiana doesn’t wear dresses/tutus as high up as the 1st designs, so I made her dress longer in the second design.

Precure-flavored redesign for the kids in Phases of the Moon Knight issue 3! I think in canon they're supposed to be one surviving kid + the ghosts of their siblings, but in this world they're either three living children, or a plural system.

Thinking of calling them Cure Knight, Cure Hunter, and Cure Vengeance. (Or maybe Cure Fist?) And the little bird is Khonsu-tan.

K-pop demon hunters is the best thing to bless our media pool in a while. I feel like there hasn't been a lot of strong feminine female characters in media lately - at none in my circle so this opinion is very biased. I do tend to see strong fmc's portrayed in a more masculine or androgenous way - which is very important, our gender non-conforming queens and trans umbrella peeps deserve and need that representation! However it feels like the last decade or so has pushed this idea that strong = masculine no matter the gender expression of the character. I miss seeing magical girls, the frilly feminine characters who kicked ass and saved the day!

After a sudden explosion, a sector of the precious city of Choutani became a wasteland. This brings three girls to begin an investigation of their own, caught in the radiation of the area, gaining strange devices that suddenly transform them into a new group of superheroes called Pretty Cure. Along with two new members, they are tasked to fight against this brand new team of villains who seem to be connected to the explosion, as well as discovering the consequences of the people are were effected during the explosion.

while it's one of my favourite mgs, in the fine year of 2025 it does in fact feel a bit outdated, and many watchers have brought up it's focused too much on hetero romantic love.. i really like that wedding apple exists, it really has something to say, it has new perspectives about love (a lesbian character, a single mom character, etc), but i wish it got an anime adaptation ):

in the final episode of the og they did bring up new themes, love for nature (something blue) and courage to create a new world (something new) but these themes weren't really explored in the series...

also i'd really love to see the grown up angel squad!! to see what careers they have chosen, or how their relationships with their loved ones developed over time... and of course them getting married :3

wedding peach dx has these wonderful artworks where our girls look so mature and elegant,,, i think they could pull something like that in a sequel

The new designs of the heroines and their fairies from Star Detective Precure captivated me so much that I make redesigning the fairies for Pas De Trois Precure (and I continue to work on character redesign in general).

From right to left:

Lily (Lilac Fairy) - a cat fairy, the eldest fairy. She knows quite a lot about the structure of her home world, keeps a terrible secret about the "Biggest's Curse of Storyteller ," and was the one who caused all mess with Aurora's dream and Carabosse's curse. She adresses people respectfully, loves take care of flowers, adores lilacs, and sweet tea. She end her speech with "-li". "I'm very glad to see you-li"

Desi (Prince Desire) - a mouse fairy and a very young prince who dreams of one day saving the princess from evil, and he won't return back until he fulfills his cherished dream. He is destined for an important mission: saving his home, Dreamland (or something like that), after the incident with the broken Dream World Clock tower. Likes to adress others as "Brother" (Oniichan) and "Sister" (Oneechan), protect people and his friends like a little prince and adores wooden and vintage toys. He end his speech with "-di". "I will protect you, oneechan-di!"

Plum (Sugar Plum Fairy) - a bear fairy, a plush little princess from the sweet part of Dreamland. She spends most of her time trapped in a glass Christmas tree bauble and is often invaded by "higher" powers, but knows who is behind all the chaos. She loves gifts and sweets. She end her speech with "-pi" in her speech. "So many sweets-pi!"

The features of these fairies is that they can give some power or heal Cures during battles. Sometimes they can also fuse with main characters to power-up them with their abilities and strength. They can also transform into humans and Precures.

A Wizard of Oz themed PreCure :D I actually first came up with this when my mommy showed me a movie she watched when she was younger, The Wiz, a black retelling of the Wizard of Oz, it had Diana Ross, MICHEAL JACKSON, Nipsey Russell and Ted Ross, including an all black cast. It’s really good, the music was impeccable, you should check it out :)) Then one day, I watched the actual Wizard of Oz movie, and was astounded by the whimsy, so I decided to give it a redesign.

I genuinely love the music of both movies, the animatics I my head have “Ease On Down the Road”, “If I Only Had a Heart”, “If I Only Had a Brain”, and “The Emerald City Sequence”

Azumi Michi is Cure Maison

“Walking with you on a golden path will lead us to a warm home! The Pretty Cure of Protection! Cure Maison!”

“黄金の道を君と歩むと 温かい家に辿り着くよ！まもりのプリキュア！キュアメゾン！”

Our lead cure is family oriented and adventurous. Her being sheltered for the majority of her life, she's more than happy for some adventure and new friends. However, she also gets easily spooked and barely has any savoir-faire nor experience in new places, but she can bounce back to stand up on her own two feet for herself and her friends. Despite her adventurous spirit, she's her most happy when she's at home with her family, always having the goal of going back home to her family what she looks forward to the most at the end of the day. She dreams of having a family of her own in a big beautiful house where her and her wonderful family are safe and happy. She is 17 years old.

Etymology:

Azumi means safe residence.

Michi means path

Maison is French for house

Chikako Mugibatake is Cure Scarecrow

“Kogane no michi o kimi to ayumu wa chie no hikari o misete kureru! Kashikoi Purikyua! Kyua Sukeakurou!”

“黄金の道を君と歩むは知恵の光を見せてくれる！賢いプリキュア！キュアスケアクロウ！”

Chikako ( also known as Mugi :3 ) is silly and daring. Because Scarecrow doesn’t have a brain, she does not have ANY book smarts, and is failing some of her classes and passing with Cs and Ds. However, she does have some street smarts, being able to read people, has situational awareness and is able to adjust to new environments. Also, because of her “lack of a brain”she doesn’t know when to be scared. She’s 16 years old.

Etymology:

Chikako means child of wisdom

Mugibatake means wheat/corn field

Suzu Kanjō is Cure Herz

“Kogane no michi o kimi to ayumu wa kodō o misete kureru yo! Kimochi no purikyua! Kyua Herutsu!”

“黄金の道を君と歩むは鼓動を見せてくれるよ! 気持ちのプリキュア！キュアヘルツ！”

Suzu is inexpressive and empathetic. Because the Tin Man “doesn’t have a heart”, she has a poker face and has an inexpressive face, seeming like she doesn’t care about other people and just focuses on her sculpting. However, the emotions she can’t express with her face, are easily expressed with her words, and is extremely kind and sensitive. She cares a lot about people such as her friends, family and even her enemies. She’s 17 years old.

Suzu means tin

Kanjō means feelings/emotions

Herz is German for Heart

Hideko Shishi is Cure Lioness

Hideko is prideful, but also cowardly. She tries to hide her fearful nature under pride and a tough exterior, just like the Cowardly Lion. Like Azumi, she gets easily spooked but runs away before bouncing back to help those in need, maybe helping her friends run away as well. She’s also pessimistic, believing that all she’ll ever be is a scaredy cat and won’t be able to make it out in “the real world “, but she’ll soon learn that she’ll be more than a-ok. She’s 18 years old.

Hideko means splendid child

Shishi means lion
