However, I have an au where in ninety nine John Wick participated in the European games and survived, barely. He then is recruited by the High Table because #potential, is given all the necessary training and then John is tasked to 'protect' the games and oversee that the Recruiters are doing their job and are safe.

You spark rebellion? Baba Yaga is coming for yo'ass.

Anyways so idea is John hears of Warrens and contacts them in hopes to reach the other side because he needs closure. Lorraine reluctantly agrees. Her and John cross to the other side seeking Helen but something goes wrong. So

Part one) John is stuck in alternate Continental Hotel. He faces one of the demons and is fighting for his life trying to find a way out of cursed Continental hotel, this would be with a ghostly muse. idk

Part two) John meets Helen (or he thinks it was her) they part peacefully. All is well. John thanks Warren's for their service. But (there is always a but) a shadow had clung to him. Something followed him back. Something that fed on his grief and wore Helen's face to earn his trust.

As the days go by John's changing. He isn't possessed in the classic sense. He's claimed. The demon didn't enter him, it latched onto the wound he carries, the one he refuses to let heal.

Been listening to Fast and Furious sound tracks so it got me thinking.

John is younger maybe even pre-fully becoming Baba Yaga. He's in Los Angeles on a job or hiding or maybe just passing through. A reliable contact drags him into an underground street race. He doesn't really care about the race itself but he needs the prize: a battered but beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429.

And so he wins. John would drive like he fights: efficient, precise, ruthless and absolutely no unnecessary movement. This would catch Dominic's attention and it's not admiration exactly, more like suspicion. Because nobody drives like that by accident.

Anyways, the Mustang isn't in great shape, it barely runs. So John being John starts trying to repair it himself. Dom notices him struggling and eventually steps in with "You're doing that wrong." Instant tension there. Dom takes the wrench anyway and suddenly they're fixing the car together. Years pass, John often would get contacts in LA and he'd know where to go to fix his car. And with time Dom and co. would learn of John's shenanigans and he of theirs but they all keep it tight. Without realising it John would get adopted by Dom. Naturally their paths divert but the respect and bond is always there.

Recently, en route to work I have been listening to Doctor Who music Murray Gold era and so it got me thinking.

Maybe very little Jardani meets Tenth Doctor, they share a small space adventure but is it a dream? It surely was because he did bury those memories. A madman in a blue box, the stars, running and laughter. The universe being enormous instead of cruel. He convinced himself none of it was real.

Life goes on, things happen and now John Wick has grown up. This brings us to the end of chapter four, where John is sitting on the stairs, clinging onto last moments. He'd suddenly hear a long forgotten whooshing sound which would surprise him. Of course it would, how could this be real? He is greeted by an unfamiliar face but familiar eyes. Seeing right through John, the Twelfth Doctor would be a little disappointed with all the life choices John made but he wouldn't judge, how can he? The Doctor would crouch in front of him and say:

"You're between heartbeats. Tiny little gap. Last beat hasn't landed yet." The Doctor gestures vaguely. "Time's complicated. Terrible system. I've filed complaints."
