been a while. here’s an update
so last year i got evicted from the apartment i’d been living in for 10 years.
i’m still homeless, and have been hopping motels for the past year because the california homeless assistance programs are fucking horrendous for disabled people. my entire family is homeless with me, too, and we’re all disabled. we have our two cats with us. we’ve been living day-to-day, scrounging together what we can to pay for the motel rooms for just one more night.
if you have anything to spare at all… it would mean a roof over my family’s head for one more night. it would mean our cats don’t go hungry.
i’ll also thrown in a “IOU: one art commission” for whenever i’m able to get my PC & drawing tablet out of our storage unit, if you’re interested.
if you can’t give, that’s okay. no shame or guilt or anything. it’s hard out here for everyone. if you just reblog, that’s enough.

we have to move to a different motel tomorrow (21 day policy) but one of us gets a paycheck on june 22nd. we still need enough for five days, and we need extra money for lyfts because we don’t have a car. we have other avenues of getting money, but none of it is guaranteed.
any amount at all helps, even just a dollar.
