Well that’s a strong PERSONAL OPINION.

It’s not about NEED.

You also do not NEED a car that can do 140mph when the speed limit is 65mph.

You do not NEED to go to the movies.  You can watch your television at home.

You do not NEED to go to restaurants.  You can cook for yourself.

You do not NEED a car at all, in fact.  You can walk, ride a bike, or utilize public transportation.

While not every law abiding American has a NEED to own a firearm, they most certainly have a RIGHT to.

What if that person breaking in doesn’t want your golf clubs?  What if that person wants to rape your daughter?  What if that person wants to kill your wife?  What if that person doesn’t like you and wants to beat the shit out of you for a while as he ponders whether he wants to slit your throat or not?  What if the police take longer to get to your house than it takes for a home intruder to accomplish all of these things?

What if someone tries to rob in the street? Something tells if you are carrying/wearing that much money around at night in a place where you can be robbed you must not have cared enough OR you can probably get more.

I would walk up the supreme court with every case of gun violence that could’ve been prevented and say listen I understand that it is in the bill of rights but that was written over 200 years ago for people who had no other choice if they wanted to keep their family safe. There is no reason unless you are in law enforcement or a criminal why you need one.

Then if you get cought with a gun 2 years minimum security jail BUT if child is in the home? 6 years.

There are over 350,000,000 legally owned guns in America RIGHT NOW.  What makes you think that the 85,000,000+ gun owners in this country would just give them simply because you said so?  Right now, as we speak, only an estimated 4.5% of New York citizens are complying with the SAFE Act.  If one state can’t even being taken seriously with their strict gun policies, what makes you think you can get the entire country to comply?

You would have to remove gun owners firearms by force.  You would have to forcefully take firearms from almost 100,000,000 armed citizens.

Sounds risky.  Sounds dangerous.  Sounds like you’re going to need some guns.  You hypocrite.

I’m sick of people being able to walk into places like fucking walmart with guns and everybody acts like that shit is okkay.

By your logic, we should round up all the car keys and beer bottles in the country because someone MIGHT get drunk, drive home, and kill a family of five on the highway.

This clearly means that no one who owns a car or has a beer at home after work can be trusted.

The vehicle then drives recklessly, making sharp, dangerous turns and sudden movements in ways that throw the passenger violently around the vehicle.’

as of today, we now know that this is exactly what happened to Freddie Gray before he died. 

here’s the evidence: rather than take Freddie Gray the short 2 minute drive from the arrest site to the police station (see left), he was deliberately driven recklessly for over 40 minutes (see right) around Baltimore, handcuffed and in the back of a police van, with no seatbelt, until his spine broke.

the terrifying thing is that this seems to happen a lot. earlier today, two more people came forward to testify that they were put through rough rides at the hands of the Baltimore PD. a 43-year-old man was charged with ‘public urination’ and given a rough ride that resulted in a spine fracture that rendered him quadriplegic for the rest of his life. five years ago, a former Baltimore police officer admitted that rough rides are an “unsanctioned technique” in which police vans are driven to cause “injury or pain” to unbuckled, handcuffed detainees. rough rides are very much a Real Thing.
