BJ's confession in Period of Adjustment is so good. You finally get him breaking down over a letter from his wife trying to tell him something sweet, but he's absolutely shattered by it because it triggered the reality of him losing time with his baby girl. And then you got the envy over Radar and anyone who got to go home. But Trapper specifically - yes, he probably would have still got drafted - but BJ is actually on this show because of Trapper's absence. When someone leaves the show it's sad for us to watch, but then BJ just reminded us that the characters who stay are miserable

did you guys know that there are religions out there where actual, literal belief isn’t all that important? i’ve only ever been around christianity where belief is like, the number one most important thing ever, so i never even considered that there are cultures out there where the question of “is this all real” never comes up because it doesn’t matter

and you can also belong to multiple religions that seem to contradict one another, and you don’t have to come up with some extra lore to tie them together. you can just be both.
