your Overlord drags you to the Princess's stupid fucking Hotel and immediately the most famous porn star in the pride ring hits on you in such an irritatingly fake way that you can't imagine flirting back, and he doesn't drop it, every single time you're in the same room together he has some stupid hypersexual line to throw your way, and you fucking hate it and you kinda want to kill him but this fucker keeps showing up at your bar after being at work for way longer than you thought filming sex could possibly take and if half the things he's complaining about are true, you got fucking lucky when you lost your soul but he keeps harassing you and it fucking sucks and then you get to know the guy and he has the fucking audacity to be really fucking cool and funny and kind on top of being even hotter somehow and he has a pet pig he loves like a son and that shouldn't be so adorable and you keep insisting to yourself that you don't have feelings for him, even as you can't help but smile when he gets back from work and laugh at his stupid lines and flirt back but you don't have feelings, he's just hot, and even if you did have feelings (which you don't) it wouldn't matter bc if redemption is possible than he's definitely candidate #1 and if it's not he deserves better than some washed up alcoholic but then he tries to fucking die for you and that is not how this is meant to go, he's a beautiful raging fire and the very fucking concept that he'd snuff his light out for you is so unthinkably wrong that you kinda lose your shit and he loses it right back and then things are awkward and weird and you miss how easy it was like you used to miss the night sky and you don't have feelings but he might and what the fuck are you going to do if he has feelings, that is not how this story goes and then you leave the Hotel because he doesn't need you anyway and go to where you used to be in control and he shows up there too and he's fucking gorgeous fuck the night sky what could it have on him and then you go back to the Hotel because obviously you can't leave now and yeah okay maybe you have feelings but then he's not there and he's with his awful shitfuck of a boss who hurts him because apparently some people can't appreciate a good thing (a really good thing, the best thing, maybe) when it comes their way so you go to get him back but then he doesn't even want to come back because he's scared of hurting you and your mutual friends which is dumb as fuck because you would all happily run that risk if it means he gets to rest from the bullshit he goes through on a daily basis but he's not willing to risk it because he loves everyone so fiercely, everyone but himself, and so he goes back to the stupid fucking moth who hurts him for fun and you're left to take care of his pig who doesn't understand why his beloved owner hasn't come back for him and misses him just as badly as you do and there's nothing you can do about it
