Did you know that AO3 allows fics with homicide in them? There’s a whole tag for Major Character Death and even more tags so you can find exactly what kind of character death you want to read.

Don’t they know that murder is illegal? You just know there are a bunch of homicidal maniacs out there who love to read those stories. They write them, too, in between killing people.

Anyone can read the stories on AO3! Kids can read them! They’re getting exposed to stabbing, poisoning, even guns! And they’re writing the heroes doing the killing, too! That’s basically telling kids it’s okay to go out and murder their families. It’s promoting violence and encouraging homicide and if we don’t do something about it soon, you’ll be murdered next!

Yall I pulled into the plaza lot behind some guy in a Honda who was holding up traffic and driving erratically and clipped the curb twice and when I parked as far away from where I thought he was going, he came and parked in the lane in front of my car, blocking me in as I hoofed it into Sally's. Id made eye contact with him as he sat in front of my car and just had this horrible feeling of Not Right. There was something terribly wrong with this man, from the way he was driving to how he was sitting to the way he looked at me.

So I booked it into Sally's and explained to the employee what was going on and that a man was blocking in my car and I had A Very Bad Feeling. Several employees (god bless Sally's alts, I have said so many times) immediately closed ranks, offering to call the police and walk me to to my car.

I got my dye and the man was STILL parked in front of my car so the manager and another employee volunteered to walk me out. Only when he saw me with two other people did he leave, and even then we all very tersely watched him as he went. A third employee came out to tell us he pulled a u-turn and was coming back the other way so all of them stayed with me until he was long gone.

That was scary as fuck. Could have been nothing, but could have been something and you never want to find out too late that it was something by yourself. Thank fuck for the ranks of Sally's goths who were ready to fight for me today.
