Also, let's not forget abuse isn't exclusive to straight people. "glad I'm not straight" cool so when you get abused in a relationship you'll just assume it's not real cuz you're gay? fuck off. abuse is a real problem in all gender combinations but acting like it's a straight only issue makes queer folks less likely to recognize the pattern and get help.
