Kurt Vonnegut wrote: âWhen I was 15, I spent a month working on an archeological dig. I was talking to one of the archeologists one day during our lunch break and he asked those kinds of âgetting to know youâ questions you ask young people: Do you play sports? Whatâs your favorite subject? And I told him, no I donât play any sports. I do theater, Iâm in choir, I play the violin and piano, I used to take art classes.
And he went WOW. Thatâs amazing! And I said, âOh no, but Iâm not any good at ANY of them.â
And he said something then that I will never forget and which absolutely blew my mind because no one had ever said anything like it to me before: âI donât think being good at things is the point of doing them. I think youâve got all these wonderful experiences with different skills, and that all teaches you things and makes you an interesting person, no matter how well you do them.â
And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadnât been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could âWinâ at them.
WHEW part 2 of my little mini story âUnidentified Flying Objects!â And just in time to print it up into a little zine for my next convention!
The origins of the ufo keychain that floats around most of my comics and art! The origins of Caroâs gender being a SnapBack! A FIRST DATE! NO ANGST! Who am i? Anyway, i hope you enjoyed this little âone foot out of the closetâ story for Pride. Shout out to my Tim who probably doesnât remember unlocking the machines for us and sneaking us free pizza at Peter piper 20 years ago. You were a real one. đ

The origin story of many things, most notably, the ufo keychain you always see in my art. Where did it come from? How did it get there? Why does Caro always were a backward SnapBack like itâs 1997? All these answers and more in this mini one shot comic, Unidentified Flying Objects.
Sully may not know much about anything gender related, but he will give supporting his best friend the best shot heâs got. Itâs hard to know what to do when you are just kids in a tiny town with no resources and a desperate need to keep things secret, either way, he will make sure Caro is safe, loved, and gets a chance to try on a new hat so to speak, and see what fits. It helps seeing as heâs the only openly queer person Caro knows. Stay tuned to find out how their Not A Date goes!

Part 2 is HERE!
i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.
is it a hot take to say that i think you need to understand why something is bad, not just that it simply is?
this is a part of the problem
you need to be able to explain why you shouldnt use ai rather than âoh well its obviously bad and you shouldnt use it or else youre a bad personâ because that isnât logic. âai generates child porn based off of real children and whether or not it does is entirely up to how it is built and if pedophiles are able to find ways around those safeguards, because ai cannot in itself discern right from wrongâ is a genuine criticism. âamazon tried to build a data center the size of tuson outside of tuson just to power their ai that wouldâve increased the inability to stay alive outside in parts of arizonaâ is a genuine criticism. even âusing generative ai teaches you not to learn how to do things yourself even when theyâre difficult, devaluing necessary skills out of practiceâ is a genuine criticism when you look at the amount of people who think they are able of doing a difficult major when they couldnt write their own papers in high school.
but âai is just bad because itâs badâ will convince no one and is a morally lazy position to take. about anything!
you need to know why reading someoneâs diary is wrong if you want to learn about privacy and respect. you need to know why child sexual assault is wrong if you want to be able to help children form healthy age appropriate relationships. you need to know why capitalism is bad if you want to replace it with something else. you need actual concrete ideas and ideologies rather than âyou should agree with me because i have the right vibeâ

Lineart test featuring my fish who is a lesbian âď¸I've been picking at this for a few days and it's ready just in time for pride month đđ
I had a more than just a few gripes with the haranir since the moment they popped up in game and I still have some questions about their lore and the way they were introduced to the world, but then I made these two guys and now I like them a lot more than I did at the start :)
Their names are Sambac and Dekeyseri. Their designs aren't finalized yet, so consider this concept art :) đ
She can win you with a wink, ain't she cute?
I did a big cleanup of my character roster and after that I was left with Just One Goblin, so I decided I wanted to draw her <3

Hello my fellow corpse enjoyers, a new chapter of my WoW Forsaken focused story The Darkhound is up for your reading pleasure :)
"My dear monsieur, my femme fatale, please make this dance complete~"
Just in case anyone needs a reason to not feed wildlife- this story out of Washington is a pretty good reminder. This lady has been feeding raccoons for years and now sheâs just had to call authorities for help because hundreds of them are parked out on her property and are so aggressive trying to get food that she canât get into her house.
Neighbors have been reporting excessive raccoon mortality on the adjacent road and several attacks on pets, but still everyone on this video was just talking about how cute it is. Why canât people see how unfair it is to disrupt an animalâs life like this? What do they think will happen to these raccoons? They should be scampering through a forest or marsh eating crayfish and berries and bugs, not hotdogs and cat food. This is a nightmare situation and itâs entirely one personâs fault.
