i admire how much fma03 commits to it's premise, there being an extra of the anime taking place post shamballa where ed is an old man and he has multiple newspapers clippings about the WAR OR TERROR on his wall aswell a portrait with him and whats a presumed political figure or other important person is such a small detail but gives us so much insight into what kind of life he lived and what he chose to priortize after the events of the show and the movie, it's almost sweet in a way, he commited into doing the right thing for humanity till the end.
