A good friend of mine would continue to invite me to 'girl nights' among our friendship group for years despite me continually asking her not to, and when I kept simply refusing to go she'd invite me to regular friend hangouts and when I showed up it would turn out that only the girls in our friend group were invited and she'd switch back to calling it 'girl night'. She'd constantly pressure me into wearing feminine clothing and try to get me to wear makeup despite me making it very clear I didn't want to, and get incredibly excited if I did decide to go out in feminine clothes. (I don't care overmuch about the gendering of clothing but she was always really invested in it.) She's also, incidentally, a great person and a good friend in pretty much every other respect. The things that otherwise decent people think it's somehow acceptable to push on you re: enforcing cis gender roles are wild. I wasn't even taking T, I was and still am pretty neutral on pronouns, I just asked her to stop girlifying me all the time, and somehow even that's too extreme a boundary to have.
