'goon' -linguistic drift gave her a new meaning. i hope her new life is good for her. i miss her.

'henchman' -too gendered. can be shortened to 'hench' in a pinch, but lacks punch.

'servant' -too domestic to apply to all those who serve evil.

'underling, subordinate' -this one only works if they get off on being beneath you and/or you don't properly pay your workers.

'associate' -this one's good for grizzled mercenaries or lone agents but doesn't work good for broad swathes of an organization.

'slave' -same as underling but more intense. really fun for some of the group. unsavory for others in a way that limits the scope of the thing.

'thrall' -only really applies if you're brainwashing them and that's not something i've learned how to do en masse yet

'flunky, toady, stooge, lackey' -these are just insulting, and that isn't conducive to a healthy work environment. imagine going to work and your job title is 'stooge'.

'acolyte' -works for those that worship you, but again. lacks the scope.

'supporter, follower' -unspecific and vague

'assistant, helper, aide' -not sinister at all. just means you're doing things for me. swagless in this manner. could be good if used to describe someone who's so clearly more that as a way to emphasize their obedience via understatement, but that's only useful for a few members of the organization. and even then, 'associate' works better.

DD said he had met the lawyer after hours and the lawyer had made up some documents, printed them out, and gave them to DD.

The laywer's secretary took the witness stand and said, "there's no way this could have happened. My boss has no clue how to use the printer."

The defender asked her, What do you mean? Surely this man who has been a lawyer for 30 plus years knows how to print a file?

Joseph Kent, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center has resigned as he ‘cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran’.

But that’s the only normal thing in this letter - While the current war is definitely an American/Israel thing, Kent specifically blames Israel ‘and its powerful American lobby’ for drawing America into both the current war and the Iraq War.

While the Israeli Government’s foreign policy speaks very much for itself - American needs to come to terms with the fact their foreign policy often aligns with Israel.

But AIPAC is wildly powerful. Just in Illinois right now they have spent over $13mil, some say as high as $22mil. For one election. For the 2024 election they spent almost $127mil.

And our politicians are OPENLY saying shit like this:

Ted Cruz: $4.5mil from AIPAC

Lindsey Graham: $4.6mil from AIPAC.

To *their own side's reporters*. Their own side's people are shocked at how pro-Israel these people are. And it's not just the GOP.

Hakeem Jeffries (doing AIPAC promo work here): $5.5mil from AIPAC.

Ritchie Torres: $6.7mil from AIPAC.

There is an Israel caucus in the House of Representatives (Brad Sherman, $4.1mil from AIPAC). There are so many videos of people in Capitol Hill refusing to answer America First or Israel First. And some claim "I'm just a staffer" but these staffers are the ones often doing the actual work of the representatives, and they don't get the campaign pay offs, they aren't receiving millions from AIPAC, but they won't even say America first. Because it is well known being pro-Israel is profitable for politicians' campaign funding.

And I am NOT downplaying the profit motive here at all. Jared Kushner and the Jr Trumps are all specifically positioned to profit hundreds of millions off of this war, as are many in Congress. That is 100% a major part of why we attacked Iran. Per their own newspapers 69% of Israel's arms are bought from the US. The US makes billions off of Israel being a bully. The US government is openly treating Israel as a money laundering front to get more tax dollars into weapons companies.

Blaming Israel for all the idiot foreign policy decisions that the United States makes is an easy scapegoat for a country that is simply refuses to take responsibility for its own actions. There is just as much American imperialism at play here.
