News from the Ellen Roers household. This week almost 1/2 my sales team and myself were let go! Day 1 I feel I was in shock and sad, day 2 mad and day 3 glad (shipping all my electronics back today, weird feeling). It’s stressful but at the same time it just means the best is yet to come! Also I must say very happy with our government, the generous unemployment for the next 4 months (hope I won’t need it that long) and ease of applying. Easy breezy! Man I can’t wait to get back to travel and business as per usual; however, trying to embrace the slow down. It’s amazing how quickly all of our lives have changed. Last year on this very day I felt so connected to the World; I was flying out to EUROPE to spend 11 days in 6 different countries, and 8 cities. My only thought then was, will I have enough energy for successful work meetings while dealing with jet lag?! It’s a small world after all, and somehow I still feel connected as we all go through similar emotions dealing with COVID. I know we’ll come together, and become closer through our distancing.
