This is a common question, so let me put you at ease.

1. We don't give a crap whether your gay, straight or whatever. You're a prison number! Pronouns do not matter behind bars!

2. We see various levels of arousal during intake from nothing to ............ well impressive! Nobody cares. If anything, a guard who gets a reaction like that knows he is doing his job correctly!

3. How often? Every damned session!

FCJ is located in Iowa and is run by Mark Bind. It handles 3 to 4 inmates in a real 1870s jail. Tons of elaborate restraints. Amazing space. This should be your "maiden voyage" if you are new to jail roleplay.

F22 is a newer jail circa 1971. Handles bigger groups. Focuses on jail roleplay and events. Located in central Illinois and owned by several experienced roleplay guys. Great for up to 14 guys or big groups.

HCI was a full blown prison experience! Up to 40 inmates and a 2 to 1 guard ratio. This is the big time. No coddling here! Sadly ended its run due to problems with the owner of the facility.

Good news is, the same team who ran it have eyes on a new space! Just as intense!

Roleplay is, at its core about uniformity, conformity and loss of freedom of choice. Part of the big thrill of roleplay is that first time all the inmates meet and realize they have been reduced to being "just a guy in a jail uniform!

So at the beginning, at intake, go with the flow. Feel the sensation of being just one of many. Wear the ugly underwear and the uniform.

F22 is a roleplay and event space in a former county jail. It is southwest of Chicago in central Illinois.

It was built in the early 1970s and offers roleplays for up to 18 inmates (give or take). It is also an event space!

Rapidly approaching 65 years old and lately I have gotten some "elder shaming" from the younger crowd.

I will admit to all of you now that I came very close to deactivating this tumblr last night.

Over the last few months I have been inundated with questions and messages, especially concerning roleplay. You may ask why I would consider deactivating after a statement like that! Well, the honest truth is that I have nearly 5600 followers. I have answered well over 3000 questions. I have 600 questions in my que currently. And do you know how many of you have actually and accountably been to one of the 3 roleplays I am associated with over the last 3 years? Nine! That's right nine.

I answer minutely detailed questions about roleplay; details including routines, sexuality, transport, costs, detailed scenarios, cell styles, underwear, showers, clothing....EVERYTHING! It takes 2 to 3 hours a day. And in 3 years, 9 of you actually tried it! Could there be more? Sure. But verified participants are 9!

I do not know how to motivate you.

I do not know how to inspire you.

I do not know what content to include any more.

But these spaces and this blog will disappear my friends without serious support and participation.
