I am a firm believer in "innocent until proven guilty"! So a suit and tie whenever the jury is present or prior to a guilty verdict is 100% appropriate.

But after the guilty verdict and sentencing, you wear jail and prison clothes!

We call them placards or mugshot ID Boards. They are used to supply information about the convict being photographed from ID number to prison name to much more depending on the institution.

Honestly, I think at intake you wear what you are issued just like every other inmate! If later on in the play you want to wear pantyhose or tights, you can. But you misbehave and that would be the first thing taken from you!

As a somewhat handsome 18 year old in military school, and then in my frat house, I remember dreaming that my 18 or 19 year old roommate was actually my prison cellmate!

It was always old school stripes like the movies and instead of being the good boy, I was bad as fuck!
