Rushing to build data centers for “jobs” is absurd when these things mainly exist to let companies lay people off, and in exchange gobble up our drinking water, pollute our air, and fuck over our energy grid right as were supposed to be transitioning to clean energy. All typically under cover of night with NDA’s.

My endorsements for Minnesota’s 2026 DFL primary
As a DFL party officer it is essential to uphold our endorsements and support our DFL endorsed candidates. That isn’t hard this year.
I am enthusiastically voting for:
Peggy Flanagan for US Senate
Ilhan Omar for US House (CD5)
Omar Fateh for MN Senate (SD 62)
Aisha Gomez for MN House (62A)
Cedrick Frazier for Hennepin County Attorney
And all our other dfl endorsed candidates up and down ballot too! (These are just the folks I know personally!)
I have had the privilege to get to know each of these candidates over the last few years and I am glad to be able to vote for public servants who are dedicated to not only serving our communities from afar, but have been here on the ground in our communities engaging with us and participating in mutual aid and community action. These candidates truly have put in the work to help communities like mine survive and thrive after a particularly rough year.
I am proud to know Peggy and Ilhan through their work on protecting rights and resources for children and families.
I am proud to know Omar through his work with my union SEIU Healthcare and with disabled people like me who rely on programs like Medicaid for Employed Disabled Persons.
I am proud to have gotten to know Aisha better through working to defend our community from a federal occupation’s violence against our neighbors.
I am proud to know Cedrick and his efforts to continue the work to hold the agents who invaded our county accountable.
I am proud to enthusiastically endorse each of these candidates and I look forward to voting for them today and in the November general election.
