Recovery is hard, it's really hard. It feels like the hardest thing I've ever done and I'm not ready for it.

The scary thing is that I feel like I'll never be ready for it. I'm only getting older and I know my body won't be able to keep up forever. Every relapse I get a little worse, it does a little more damage and I keep wondering, which one will be the last? Which spiral will I be unable to recover from permanently?

I keep trying to tell myself that I should be happy in a healthy, strong body that can go out walking all day, play with the dogs, or go on a hike. So why do I have this damning compulsion to be empty.

My antidepressants are putting up a good fight, for now. The urge to run and hide is real strong though.
