it does not want me on my knees to believe

A theory thats been rolling around in my brain lately is that I think the issue the band doesn't want mc to find out about is that the band and seven did get word back from the heavenly isles audition they but the studio only wanted MC and nobody else. The band and seven ended up deciding not to tell MC to prevent them going for it. Seven was so codependent with MC at the time plus with their abandonment issues I can see them doing this despite it the big betrayal. (The band did it because obviously they dont want to lose their chance at stardom) This would be what directly inspired the vote to make MC the lead singer. This is why they don't want seven and mc to reconcile because then seven might admit what happened and destroy the band. I think this makes more sense then the band doing something solely against seven because then why wouldn't seven tell mc about if it wasn't a case of mutually assured destruction
