Rookanis headcanon that Lucanis never experiences true lust until he sees Rook playing cards. Rook is canonically a card shark and I think Lucanis would be absolutely overcome with lust and desire seeing Rook pull a slight of hand maneuver to cheat with such skill and grace that Lucanis can’t even see what they did even knowing most card tricks himself and knowing that they could have only won by cheating that he is immediately overcome by lust by just how skilled with their hands Rook is. Idk, I just think Rook being able to outfox the Demon of Vyrantium would turn Lucanis on in a way he has never experienced before because he is a absolutely losing it trying to figure out what the fuck Rook did and how they pulled it off when there’s no way they would have won without cheating while Rook completely plays up their innocence knowing full well that they cheated and Lucanis competence kink leads him to being down bad for how effortlessly Rook is able clean house at cards.

Currently thinking about a Rook Ingellvar who romances Lucanis and moves into Villa Dellamorte after the events of the game startling when they open their door one day and see a servant cleaning something in their room. The servant starts to apologize for scaring them but Rook just smiles and says “No I’m sorry, I’m not used to servants having skin!” before leaving. Word spreads and now the whole Dellamorte staff is terrified of them. Lucanis eventually notices the staff acting jumpy around Rook and when he finally gets one of them to explain what happened he has to tell them no, that wasn’t a threat, Rook’s just like that.
