I don't ship Kakashi and Guy, I'm just too hyped by the potential of "eternal man of destiny" and them spending the springtime of youth together.
A line runs down from above. It ends in a spiral. Another rises from below and is deflected by that spiral, before coming to a stop not far away. It's been there since the trees were alive, buried deep within their core.
*The alarm clock is ringing*
K : (Having to rest means I can take quick naps.)
K : (The kind that ends around 8PM.)
K : (Back to what I was doing...)
*loud hit against the window, a cat's standing behind the glass.*
K : (It fell. Must be ashamed of itself.)
K : (Forget my reaction and I'll forget your clumsiness.)
K : (No students anymore)
G : Why didn't you tell me you are on leave?! AAAAHHH!!!
*Kakashi slam the window*
G : You know, most people stop at throwing others out of the winddow, without closing it.
K : Most people use doors.
G : I've heard you got two weeks off. And you only got one left! You should have told me, now we have a full week of challenges to make up for! So much wasted competitive potential!
K : I plan to keep waisting it.
G : You can't just leave your youth unused like that...! I'm taking what's left of it back on track -RIGHT NOW!
*Guy goes Pascal-le-Grand-FrĆØre*
K : (There are limits to what should and shouldn't be weaponized.)
K : You can't be serious.
*Blanket used like a whip*
K to the dead blanket : Rest in peace, comerade.
G : Don't mourn it. I'll buy you another one...though maybe not if it leads you to sleep until noon. I was surprised to find you in bed.
K : I'm making proper use of the time off I have left.
K : Don't you have students to train by the way?
G : It's their day off, so I seized the opportunity to come at you!
G : To challenge you! Having students leaves me little time for myself, but I'll dedicate every remaining second to being fully engaged in our rivalry!
K : (That sounds exhausting.)
Anko : Alright! Don't you dare to blink! Go ahead-try it! Even think about it, you'll get hit and humiliated!
K to Guy : How could you convincer her to be part of OUR thing?
A : First, he didn't have to. Second-
A : I'll keep hitting you until you lift that headband off your eye!
K : classic arm wrestling, right ?
*Sounds of breaking bones* Both : AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH-
G : Kakashi ! Are you okay? You still haven't caught your breath-
G : Fuah! And now, breath-holding underwater contest!
G : If you won't dive, be kind and don't drown me!
K : We've done enough for today.
G : Not yet. Evening's still young. Let's end the day without touching the ground!
Sellor : Is it too much to ask to buy things properly?!
G : Throw us two boxes sir, I'll catch them mid-air.
K : Guy, buy me the beef one.
Both : Thanks for the meal!
G : You lost on purpose, didn't you?
K : I let it slip, I was getting a bit tired.
G : It's okay to feel a bit drained sometimes.
K : Does that actually happen to you? That's surprising.
G : Oh, no. That's just what I've heard. I get enough sleep, I eat well... I'm never tired outside of missions.
K : Even with all that training you do?
G : Especially thanks to that.
G : I've got a good work life balance here. That allows me to exceed my limits without exhaustion.
G : Is something troubling you aside your blanket ?
G : Usually I can tell when you're free. I find you wandering around, visiting the graveyard at odd hours, or reading those books outside shamelessly. But now, you're not even pretending to be busy.
G : W-Well! You must be tired because you gave your all in your last mission! A very intense one, no doubt. Still, Lady Hokage didn't tell me why she granted you this much rest. You weren't badly injured, were you?
K : I'm fine. I'll be back on mission soon.
G : It's already set? With who?
G : No one else available to back you up?
K : There is. But it will be easier this way.
G : It's good you're getting back out on mission! Make sure you give it everything you've got. Don't let anything slip while you're out there.
G : I won't even count this win if you agree!
G : See you at 6 tomorrow!
K : (If it's 6PM, I'll die tomorrow.)
K : (Finally some sleep.) ...

(The same two veined flame has been appearing every night for a week.)
Thank you for reading! Just hope I'll be able to continue it.
