- Being a construct does come with weird quirks, though they function a bit differently compared to each other due to environmental circumstances, they are fundamentally the same concept.
- Both boys have enhanced senses, strength, endurance, and speed, more so than their modern day human counterparts, though there are some differences, the most noticeable one being how they function around food.
- Both of them need to eat, however its common for them to go days sometimes even weeks without food, especially if theres other sources of energy to keep them sated (which isn’t common as they feed off different types of energy)
- Cyrus was designed this way, as it was assumed that was the blueprint for humans from the beginning, but Sabri only developed the need to eat after he was captured by Cyrus’s creator (whose name i still need to figure out)
- Cyrus cant taste (this is a flaw in his genetics, he should have had taste), most of his enjoyment of food comes from smell and texture, which both senses are extra heightened as a compromise. He loves to cook but because he cant taste it and was never taught proper cooking standards, most of his dishes come out tasting horrendous, his food is either overly seasoned for the smell or burnt for the texture. Often times both.
- Meanwhile Sabri CAN taste, however he wasn’t intended to, as he wasn’t intended to eat either, as a result the wires in his brain are a little… crossed. He cant tell good tastes from bad tastes, and as a result he can, has and will eat literally anything you tell him is edible. Honestly he probably leans into it just to mess with people. Ya boy is chugging pure Wylk Ketchup just to fuck with you.
- Together they are a fatal cooking combo. Do not trust either of them to feed you, you will probably die.
- They also have a reduced need for sleep, though unlike eating, which helps them produce energy, sleeping only serves to conserve what energy they have, like sleep mode on a computer, they only find it necessary to sleep when resources are scarce, they would often take turns sleeping while the other went and searched for food to burn and keep watch for hunters
- That said, Cyrus hates sleeping, he would rather spend all his energy at once then refuel with an excessive amount of food than conserve it, though energy sources are easier to come by for him, so that contributes quite a bit to his reasoning
- Sabri meanwhile likes to take frequent naps so he only uses energy when he needs to. As a result he eats much less often than Cyrus, Who will eat 5 times in the time it takes for Sabri to need to eat 1 time. He requires a much more refined type of energy to sustain himself compared to Cyrus so conserving what he has is esp important.
