I guess technically Pokopia? I finished the story anyways lol.
LoZ: Oracle of Seasons 🌻🍄🟫❄️🌱 (husband’s playing Oracle of Ages so we can do Linked Play afterwards >u<).
Fire Emblem 7: Blazing Blade / Pokopia / LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom (replay using more Magic Rods!)
I’m tentatively very excited for the Ocarina of Time remake (waiting to see if it’s actually a remake or just a remaster). I’m definitely looking forward to Pokémon Winds / Waves though! Also Gen 5 remakes (sequels?)
The Legend of Zelda & Pokémon! Also Kirby! ^0^/ ⭐️
Final Fantasy - I played a couple games & loved them (especially FFIV on the DS - easily my favorite 🌙), but IDK. I still listen to music though 🎧
Nope (Nintendo girl for life).
Okay so. 😅 Anyone who’s followed me for long will know the answer’s the former, but I do honestly enjoy playing as someone else with their own personality / story, too! It’s like I’m traveling with them, struggling with them, befriending them on their journey, & hopefully helping them get to a happy ending. 🩵
Um! So the GameBoy games were pretty limited on giving character to their, well, characters ^^; but I do love Moosh, Dimitri, & well. >///> Din. She’s pretty & spirited.
“Don’t Speak Her Name” (Fire Emblem: Awakening - Ikrit showed me some of the better tracks through the series, & this is a dramatic & emotional one for sure).
Ocarina of Time - Title Screen 🌳🎹
Right now, I’m waiting on the DLC part 1 for Pokopia, & taking a break from TotK for the Oracle games. & actually…>u> I also still have my canon save of BDSP that I’ve been playing in pace with Diamond x Pearl REWRITE to keep the game’s events fresh on my mind (so yeah, game-Ansy’s still in Canalave City too, lol 😂)
If I wanted to replay a game, I’m pretty sure I already have. 0.0
I’d say Undertale (I kinda lost steam somewhere in the middle of a Pacifist run - paragon for life), or maybe Octopath Traveler II (I beat the first one, but not the second). I do have a habit of leaving some games unfinished lol. vuv;;
I could talk about Hyrule all day, but I already did enough in this thing, so: Galar! One of my favorite Pokémon regions from one of my favorite titles I’ve easily done the most replays on (second is BW)
TotK - from that first jump on the Great Sky Island, I knew this was going to be an even more amazing adventure than the one I had in BotW.
The only one that’s coming to mind is Colgera from TotK, but I’d say most of it was the cinematic aspect - the music, the setting, etc. Just a love letter to us Wind Waker fans. 💌
Lots of people consider Chairman Rose to be a disappointment, but you know what - Lysander from XY. He & Team Flare were a HUGE let down after Team Plasma & Ghetsis in BW/BW2. He’s crying about the transience of life / beauty, he’s got this weird visor thing, & he was just kinda meh & forgettable (much like canon Team Galactic & Cyrus). He & Team Flare becomes way more interesting in ZA at least - easily one of the best battle themes, too.
Aw MAN. I’ve seen a lot over the years from the games I’ve played. One is an obscure title called Odin Sphere (a beat-em-up RPG based on Wagner’s Ring Cycle), but really, BW. That last fight with N, then Ghetsis where I felt the most hatred for a character than I ever had, then that last convo with N before he flies off on his Dragon.
Leaving the Shrine of Resurrection for the first time in BotW, running onto the hill & looking out at Hyrule. Breathtaking.
I tend to like more colorful, stylized art, but I gotta give a shout-out to Twilight Princess - definitely more muted & realistic of the Zeldas, but the Old West touches made it really unique. I also liked how a lot of the Hylians & humans look half-Asian like me 8u8
Wind Waker - back in the day, they made this trailer to show off the GameCube’s capabilities with OoT Link vs. Ganondorf. Then we got this Toon Link in Wind Waker. So yeah. XD But you know what - it’s actually one of my favorite Zelda’s! 🌬️🍃 It’s fun, it’s cute, & still manages to tug at your heart. It also has the best, most interesting Ganondorf in the entire series.
I could keep going about TotK, but BW! I loved the seasons, I loved Unova as a region, the musical NPC’s, the music, etc. It’s very cozy. =u= 🏙️🌳🩵
Let’s go with Kirby! First game I played was Kirby’s Adventure for the NES because I’m old lol & while I do remember it very fondly, I would actually recommend Kirby Super Star for the SNES to start with - introduction to the Ability caps, lots of variety (since it was like 10 games in one, including a remake of the very first Kirby), etc. If that’s a bit too far back, you could play Kirby’s Return to Dreamland (it has my favorite ability: Water! 🌧️💦🌈)
I generally stick to one game at a time lol.
Oracle of Seasons at this rate - we’re close to the end ouo;
Oh boy. I’d say maybe a platformer (like Kirby) or a simpler RPG (like Pokémon). Adventure games (like Zelda) are great too, since it touches on most other genres. But above all else, I’d just ask the person what looks like fun: does the art or music vibe with you? The characters? The gameplay? Whatever that is, go with that! ^0^/
Now, here’s a question that Ikrit cleverly came up with!
32. What’s a game you enjoyed, but would not play again?
—> There’s been a few games I just never touched again because I was very satisfied with that one journey / experience. The one that stands out is Octopath Traveler - you get to play through 8 different character’s stories with their own unique endings. There’s an optional super boss that ties them all together, but after all that, I was okay to just watch / read it. 😅 It really is a beautiful game, an HD2D RPG. Recommended if you wanna try something different / new.
