|| 🔷 ||: ❝ ... Yes... rose hips tea. I hope that's okay. ❞
Ouch. Her heart ached as she spoke, but she'd gotten better at keeping her emotions from showing on her face. Her ears, however, still pinned back, no small smile of her's could hide what those were doing.
|| 🔷 ||: ❝ I'll be right back, promise. ❞
With that she turns and starts to walk, hand weakly raises to wave and summon another portal, one that went into her room where she kept her own personal kettle, tea set, and home grown and dried teas.
The portal closes behind her, and she takes a couple steps back. Until her back hits the wall and she slides down it. Tear spilling out of the corners of her eyes as she tries all to desperately to stop them from coming.
|| 🔷 ||: ❝ ouu kez'q ɮæepæ bæ qø- ouu kez'q-! ❞
There was only one she knew of who successfully extended his lifespan, kept his memories... for the briefest of seconds his method, despite knowing it's cost, comes to mind...
Then a knock on her door, a worried advisor who saw her portal in, snaps her from going down that dark train of thought.
|| 🔷 ||: ❝ Ah-- I'm fine. I'm alright. I just misplaced a cup. ❞
How quick she is to recover, to stand and grab the tea supplies she's come here for and open a portal back out before that same advisor can complain about her bringing a human to this realm.
It was her damn kingdom after all.
|| 🔷 ||: ❝ Dad? Sorry I took a minute. I have the tea. The kettle just needs a minute more to finish heating. ❞
Thank the spirits for magical kettles. No fire needed, just crystal stored energy.
