Hi!! How are you everyone? I'm bad this fan fic was terrible in the way it's really really (that's two really) good.
The drawing is inspired by the scene in the penultimate chapter, if I'm not mistaken, in which Donnie begins to see what he created, not as his brothers but as monsters that should not exist. The one where he begins to see their images distorted and realizes that they no longer have ninpo. When I read it I couldn't help but let it stay in my head, I love how the terror he suddenly feels is portrayed. The realisation, the fear, the decision. Very Uncanny valley.
Speaking of the story, I'm a big fan of the ending. I like that he doesn't tell you exactly what happened, you know that Donnie poisoned his brothers, there's no doubt about it, but did he take it too? I'm not so sure, I don't think Donnie could live much longer than that, but I don't know if he did it there. Maybe yes, maybe he didn't want to see his brothers die again, see their faces as they realize what was happening. Maybe he didn't want to deal with what would happen next, the bodies, having the capsules there, no longer having a plan to follow. Maybe he tried and couldn't. Maybe he abandoned everything and went far away where only the ghosts of his mistakes can haunt him, but not their bodies. Maybe he grew out of it, maybe he didn't, maybe he couldn't. He didn't have much left anyway.
It's a short story, but I don't think it needs much more. I like that it happens in two days, two of the worst days. Not even, a day and a little bit. A single day was enough to realize that what he had been doing all this time was wrong. That the years of following that plan were, not only a huge waste of time, but a worse mistake. One day it was enough to send the last motivation he had to the trash. The only thing that moved him. That made him get up. The last thing he had left. What to do when you lose everything and ruin its remains? I don't know, but maybe there are things that we are better off without knowing, without doing, without recovering. Maybe the dead should stay that way.
I don't know people, I went around the bush. Very good fan fic, read it.

hmm that's a good question. i guess it really depends on what kind of interpretation you're going off of for each... butttt, i'm not gna go all into it.
at first glance, probably a zombie. the generalized vision of zombies is all they do is walk around and eat people for their brains... seems pretty relatable.
i, too, have the urge to obliterate the people around me for being much smarter than i am.
