Hi if you follow me read this thanks
Iām probably going to log out of this account and never come back.
[Thatās it, but if u wanna know why, read below]
I was constantly worried about being taken seriously as a nonbinary person. I was so terrified that Iād be deemed aĀ ātranstrenderā by the only community that accepted me. Then I went to college, and I got a group of friends and Jschlatt uploaded this videoĀ where he talked about how, in the nicest way, other peopleās opinions didnāt matter. So the next day I decided to wear a skirt to college and every single one of my friends treated me the exact same way as before. And it doesnāt sound like a big deal, but their respect being completely unchanging when I decided not to wear masculine clothes woke me the fuck up.
I realised that I didnāt care about discourse anymore. The only reason I hung onto discourse was because I needed an outlet for the anger that came from nbphobia, both internally and externally, and that outlet was this blog. I donāt care if someone calls themself pansexual, identifies as genderfluid, uses neopronouns, identifies as a xenogender, is aĀ ānondysphoricā transgender person, etc. Mogai isnāt the reason the LGBT+ community is losing support.
I saw posts and rants like this when I got into discourse. I got asks that almost perfectly predicted this outcome. And every single time I didnāt care because I was confident in my opinions. Even though it was shitty, Iām thankful for discourse. Itās the thing that educated me about what being trans is, and made me realise I had gender dysphoria.
Goodbye, - Bonk
