I Wanna Be Yours (multichapter) - When he was 18 years old, recent number 1 NHL draft pick Ilya Rozanov picked up freshman Aerospace Engineering student 'Jemma' Hollander for a wild one night stand. 18 years, one surprise pregnancy, and a lot of gender affirming healthcare later, Shane Hollander's son Evan has just been drafted to the Bears, where legend Ilya Rozanov is still captain…and still single. (if it's not obvious, Shane is trans in this fic)

A La Carte (oneshot) - Shane is still a hockey player, Ilya is a chef who finds his substitution requests annoying.

Flexible Hours (oneshot) - Everyone knows Irina Khalimbekova is one of the best figure skating coaches in the business, so when Shane Hollander is cast to play an Olympic figure skater in his next role, the studio hires her to make sure he can stay upright on skates. As he starts working with her he ends up running into her son, NHL bad boy currently on LTIR Ilya Rozanov.

Leaving A Mark (oneshot) - Ilya is a painter, and he’s just been hired to paint a portrait of the first female commissioner of the NHL - Yuna Hollander. Her son, legendary Metros captain Shane Hollander, has opinions.

Winter Apart, Acrylic on Canvas (6 +1) - When Ilya first sees the triptych 'Winter Apart' he falls head over heals in love with it and decides he must have it. Problem is, it’s not for sale, and the anonymous artist doesn’t take commissions. As his secret relationship with Shane grows, so does his art collection, one one piece remains forever out of reach.

A Luxury Few Can Afford (oneshot) - Shane has never much liked Montreal’s loudmouth right winger Alexei Rozanov, but his daughter Zhenya is best friends with Ruby and Jade Pike so they end up spending more time together than Shane would expect. When Montreal wins its first cup and Shane spot’s Alexei celebrating with his family, he finds himself unable to ignore how attracted he is to Alexei’s superstar fashion model brother Ilya.

Mother, Come in from the Cold (long form oneshot) - When an documentary about MI6 operatives in 80s USSR exposes a list of unidentified operatives, Ilya is confronted with the truth - there never was an Irina Rozanova, only an Ingrid Barlow - and she is currently living out her retirement in a record shop in North London.

The First Cut (multichapter) - When Ilya gets that call in the locker room, it's the news that Alexei and his wife Valeriya have died leaving his dying father without a carer. As he spends more time with Grigori after moving him to North America, he discovers that he may not be the first Rozanov to have fallen in love with a man, and that his late maternal uncle Pyotr was more important to his father than he ever could have known.

Come the Thaw (multichapter) - When Grigori dies he leaves a complete mess for his sons to tidy up. Gambling debts, piles of useless police notes, a car that worth more as scrap than as a running vehicle, and apparently a small flat with an ongoing allowance in St Petersburg. A flat registered to Irina Rozanova.

The Shape of Memory (6 +1) - Ever since he was little Shane has loved building dioramas - first for his grandfathers model trail track, and then later as a way to calm his anxiety with a slow methodical task. He starts building custom replica’s of significant spaces. 1991 - 2017 as told in a 6 + 1 format of diorama building vignettes

Like I LOVE the idea that the ghost that haunts both Sam and Mary isn't any grand spirit or a demon, it's just Sam's grief - her anger, and her betrayal and her lost love given a body and sent out to find some sort of absolution because she couldn't carry it in her body any longer without it destroying her. And in a way the ghost is their child, like you can't ignore the way the emergence of it in Sam's nightmare is reminiscent of a miscarriage, or the symbolism of Mary's character being 'Mother Mary' who abandoned her partner and their collaboration while it was still in it's infancy. The ghost is what could have been if they had stayed together. It's the product of them rendered as a still birth, clawing its way from one mother's resolution into it's the open wound of the other's guilt, begging to be seen and mourned.
