Most EU people go through their every day life w/o knowing about them. There are no ads, no marketing…nothing. I know that costs money though one might think important petitions that lead to a better and progressive life would be supported by the government or ministries in some way, but nooooo

And why should they? It’s petitions that would help out the poor and middle class, but endanger capitalism and their exploitation, sooo: government and business leads for example.

Please contact your MP and voice your disapproval of the online age-gate bill S-210 that would require giving your gov ID to sites through 3rd party services before you can access them. AND bill C-36 which claims to prevent nebulous Online Harms by just straight up censoring anything deemed "potentially harmful to youth" the qualifications of which are very loose and the penalties severe. Meaning a site hosting factual safe sex information for anyone to access could be called Harmful and punished unless the host site can afford a huge legal battle in which they have to prove they don't meet any of those loose qualifications.
