It really needed me to simulate my former setup (using my old desk in the same area etc…) to stimulate my memory. I mean, in some very interesting Technically Correct ways, they didn't actually die? Now, they're very much no longer alive. But the forces involved are such that they didn't get any of the usual cellular processes of death, they simply went from biology to physics in less time than it takes a signal to travel down your optic nerve.

Next btvs art dump. Wanted to make more color variation drafts for some of the wips but i give my art dumps certain time tables and well, back pain and heat waves stole some time. So this is it. Really had fun quick painting the faux leather parts.
Watched the y2k x-men movies after a long while. And my god, last stand maybe isn’t a good one but that aside, what I wanna mention is the quality of cgi here. Like how mostly good it looks compared to sometimes nowadays mcu cgi. We all know why that is a thing today, just wanted to mention my, well, surprise is the wrong word, but that I realized again by direct comparison

Was that it for x-men97 season 2?? I can’t even explain what felt so off about it. It’s like it was over in a blink of an eye? It’s like so much happened, but also nothing? Like I said, I can’t put it into words. (And I waited until it was complete to watch them in two sittings)
EDIT: I feel like season 1 felt much more fleshed out? Like it had good structure and didn’t feel as hectic/all over the place?
I really wonder why they won’t give gambit his black/red eyes. CG wise it should be totally possible and it would make channing tatum look more authentic as the character. I mean his eyes are one of the core visual features or signature looks.
